I wanted to get my friend some 'Congratulations' flowers. She lives in the falls church area. I found Geno's shop online. His website didn't have a 'Congratulations' occasion listed, too bad, because I don't know anything about flowers . But it did have a 'custom flower design' for no extra charge. Well, okay then! I placed an order on Wednesday night, for delivery on Thursday. She loved them. I will say, I did check out the those 1-800/pro-flowers sites. They add extras to you order, and the flowers never look like the pictures. When it comes down to it, the prices end up being the same. And I prefer ordering from a place you can "walk into."I'm really happy with the total purchase at Geno's (price, service and arrangement). Poor flower arrangement on delivery. Extremely disappointed. Ordered what looked to be a beautiful orchid flower arrangement by photo online through Geno's Flowers and not a third party site. However, when the arrangement arrived, it looked sad and poorly arranged. This was quite disappointing especially while my arrangement was for someone who was grieving and received a poorly constructed arrangement. It seemed like the vase was too short for the stems and therefore the flowers. I would be skeptical to order from here again unfortunately. If it was a delivery issue, than the arrangement should be made well enough to travel too. More...

Was promised a photo of a $250 arrangement before it got delivered by a young lady over the phone. Never got it. Would have been nice to see what I was paying for at that price. Will not use their service again

I ordered a large arrangement for a backyard wedding, and gave a few general ideas regarding color. What arrived far exceeded my expectations. Geno even went out of his way to deliver on a Sunday morning, when they are usually closed (we live very close by), so it arrived as fresh as possible. I specifically ordered from Geno's because I read all the good reviews and because I have had terrible experiences with online places like 1-800-flowers because they never look like the picture. I called up and asked him to send me a photo before they went out for delivery and I can say they look exactly like the picture I saw on the website. It's beautiful. Geno’s went above and beyond. I ordered today (Memorial Day) on the website and the order went through. However when I called to ask when the order would be delivered, the owner or manager (the man didn’t say), said they were closed. He asked if I ordered for today and I said yes. He told me then they would go out first thing tomorrow. I was understanding due to it being a holiday. Three hours forward, and I receive a phone call from my wife saying how gorgeous her flowers are! Thank you Geno’s for lifting up my wife’s day. I will recommend you to everyone! My husband decided to send me flowers as a surprise...on Memorial Day  apparently they were closed, but promised the arrangement would be out the following day ASAP. I usually shop at Falls Church Florist but since they are no longer in business I decided to try Geno’s Flowers. I purchased a single flower arrangement for a funeral.
