My family and i have been members of this club since september. Before committing we check out all of the competing clubs in the area. Genesis stood out above the rest for the extensive variety of classes as well as the multiple times for each available. We liked the indoor/ outdoor pools at this location. My youngest child enjoys going to the kids area and like most gyms they offer the 2 hour window to getca great workout in and maybe some relaxing time in the saunas or whirlpool. I personally have utilized the availability of their trainers. Although a little pricey, as a gym newbie my trainer (Fletcher) is top notch and has taught me the proper techniques with many of the pieces of equipment offered. I would highly recommend taking advantage of working with a trainer even if its a short period of time.There are a few things i think could be improved apon. For one the lockers are awful. They have dials you can program but only work half the time. Theres also minor repairs to the womens locker room that could be addressed. All in all i am very happy with our decision to join Genesis Ridgeview. From its cozy lobby/lounge area to the workout floor and everything in between it is a place we truly enjoy being a part of. This gym is the best in town. Big enough for any exercise you want to do. Plenty of trainers and helpful staff. The manager is also pretty cool and cares that you enjoy your experience.

Great facility in general! Besides having great equipment and a variety of things to choose from, their staff is very helpful and easy to get along with. They prioritize in making sure the gym stays in tip top shape throughout the day, and that everything runs smoothly. This location has a great enviroment and an even better community, between the staff and members. I would 100% recommend giving Genesis and this location a try More...

This club is amazing!! The classes and instructor are fabulous and motivating. They will help you modify any class, since I’m older it sometimes is hard to keep up, but they assist you in knowing what your capable of and give you alternatives but still give you a great workout! ! This gym is amazing. The classes offered are amazing. Group power, cycle, And Zumba are only a few of my favorite classes. The instructors are all amazing. Kelsey, Aly, Katie, Ashley, and Pam are amazing people that make you push when you ready to give up. They treat you like your family, and they truly care about your health. They encourage you to better yourself. They have become more then just instructors at the gym. They are gym family who you look forward to seeing when you workout. Variety of classes and locations. Came to Genesis because of the Turbo classes. Love Turbo and Emily is an awesome Turbo instructor full of energy and fun. Then found Fight. Another class I absolutely love and Erik is a dedicated and passionate Fight instructor who emphasizes form and proper technique, also alot of fun. Moved from Chicago looking for a good place to workout! By recommendation started my membership. This is good place to exercise and a friendly environment. I took several different clases but my favorites are the boot camp class and the Group of Power with Jackie! She is one of the best teachers at this gym. She always motivates you to do better in every workout. Her classes are always full and you need to be there ahead of time to find a spot (that says a lot). Her Sunday boot camp class is my favorite, burn bunch of calories between weights and full cardio, and she also changes the routine every Sunday! So you never go wrong with her class !!! I've been coming here since it opened. Love this gym and the classes. It doesn't have the amenities of some clubs but a pool, courts and smoothie bar don't matter to me. The variety of fitness classes is good and the instructors are great. Take any class from Allison B, Katie D, Sarah H, Rachel S or Andrea B - they are all great! I've been working out at Genesis South for nearly 2 years. before finding South, I never would have considered myself a "gym person. " Club Manager, Kara Horigan, has worked hard to create a culture of community that makes me feel welcome and at ease every time I visit the club. The club also has an excellent training program. I've been working with personal trainer, Tayler Dietz, since April and can't believe the results he's helped me achieve in those 7 months!
