I originally got my hair done (balayage) at another salon and I was chill with it. I wasn't in love with it or anything. But when it grew out, a friend recommended us to Gavali. Shelby did an AMAZING job with my hair and it's still healthy and looks good almost three months later. I tried this salon after going to another salon for several years. I loved the calming, intimate nature of the salon. The owner is meticulous and works hard to watch over her staff to provide her professional counsel, unlike other salons. She also makes sure to say hello to clients and make them feel comfortable, even if not going to sit in her personal chair. So, I needed a break from the same routine. I always heard great things about Gabby and her staff and they were great for my sister in laws wedding party!  I made a last minute appointment with Kerry- literally the day before. I didn't know that it would only be her second day in the salon and that she'd have discounted initial prices. Well, I've been to many places and have pretty wild (thick and curly) hair and I've never been happier. My hair looks perfect and I've gotten compliments all day long. I wish I could give this place more stars! I went too Alyssa for my first time getting a balayage after seeing her work on her instagram page and I've never loved my hair so much before! She gave me Everything I ever wanted and was so down too earth and amazing! I would highly recommend going too her! I would go get my hair done cheap elsewhere and after my experience at Gavali Salon I could never go back too what I was doing before!The salon is also so clean and accommodating as well! Super cute salon! Everyone is nice, positive and clean atmosphere, always up to date with latest hair products. So happy I found this salon!!! I just moved here from California, and my aunt had been cutting my hair out there for years so I was really nervous to have someone else cut it. I picked this salon because I love the pictures they posted and the stylish decor of the salon itself.     KATIA DID AN AMAZING JOB ON MY HAIR!!!! A couple years ago, I put too much blonde in my hair and it broke off and really ruined my hair... I'm still recovering from it, but parts of my hair are uneven. Katia gave me the haircut of my dreams that left my hair long, healthier, and evened out.. she was able to make some of the broken parts of my hair look like shorter layers that were meant to be there. I am a writer and a mom who was seeking a relatively affordable place close to home. I am also 40 and have been getting my hair colored (various shades of blonde, but sometimes with pink streaks or other colors) since age 18. All I can say is WOW I am so obsessed with my hair. Gabby did such an amazing job and I'm in owe. I just left the Solon and felt this review couldn't wait especially after my last one. Gabby contacted me a few months ago and I decided to give Gavalis a second chance and I'm soooo extremely happy I did. Not only was she friendly, her staff was extremely courteous and offered me beverages, gave great conversion and were so sweet. The way Gabby communicates with you.  it makes you feel as if your best friends. she takes her time with your hair, recommends products, and really grasp the concept of what you want done to your hair!!! Going into Gavalis my hair was horrendous, leaving the salon I felt like a new person. My hair is not only changed by color but also by the texture it's so soft and none of the products she used weighed down my hair my hair feels light and fluffy and just looks amazing !! Everyone was extremely friendly the place is still gorgeous!! And I'm sooooo happy with my hair I can't say this enough!! Im happy I gave it a second chance and that gabby personally did my hair !! I recently had an appointment with Shelby, a junior stylist, who was a rockstar!
