Have you spent the last few decades prioritizing your kids and job, and not doing the things that you believe in?

On paper, my life looked great. I had a great job and worked from home. I also had a wife and three kids. I had people-pleasing and used laughter not to deal with my issues. Even though I was driven to make more money and go after things, nothing could make up for the lack of self-care and self-love.

I’m Gary Steve Gracia, the Work Life Balance Coach, specializing in helping working professionals with kids to balance professional success with their health, spirituality, and wellness.

I spent my whole life striving to be perfect, and it still wasn’t enough.

MY STORY: Just imagine, working from home with three kids under 7, virtual learning, balancing marriage, and being stuck on repeat. The pandemic broke me but it was purposeful. I discovered that my problem was my environment but my perception of myself and how I felt about myself. The things I thought I needed didn’t bring me happiness, because, underneath all the layers of ‘success’, I didn’t feel good enough. This realization changed my life completely. God sometimes knocks you down so that you have no choice but to look up.

I finally accepted who I was and made peace with myself, with what I had, and promised myself moving forward things would be different, for real this time.

At the end of 2021, I began my self-care journey and realized that I must understand and care for the Internal Self, the External Self, and most importantly, the Spiritual Self. I also created Risen Community LLC with a vision to assist busy professional especially men look inward for solutions, finding their strengths and purpose.
