We ordered a Mediterranean sampler and a souvlaki salad from Forestview through Uber Eats. Â Wow, it was so good. Â The sampler had a spicy feta dip, falafel pita and hummus. Â You could tell that it was all fresh and homemagain!The salad was a sampler that had chicken, steak and gyro meat. Â It came with a tasty dill sauce and Greek oil dressing. I always have some a good experience here. I've ordered food to go as well as dining in many times. They offer a lot of different options. This time I tried the pot roast and it was delicious. It was very tender and flavorful. It was on top of mashed potatoes and had onion rings on top.I also tried some of the stuffed banana pepper chicken pasta. It had a nice amount of heat and was really good.My sister ordered the steak hoagie and said it was also good. Got take out from here last weekend. I had the Sunshine burger and my wife had the Malibu burger. We ordered over the phone, showed up around the time the hostess told us and waited for a little bit for our food. The burgers were good enough; the sunshine burgers tasted like a lot of other burgers I've had at various places. My wife said her burger was fine but not particularly flavorful. We came to Forestview for an early dinner. This was one of the few restaurants that were still open before the mandatory shutdown so we said why not. The menu is very large, full of options, and a little overwhelming. For someone who doesn't eat red or white meat, I found it rather difficult to find something I liked. And I was not interested in another salad or breakfast items. It would have been nice to see a meat alternative on this huge menu. I ended up ordering the tuna melt. The wait was long considering we were one of two other people seated. The food was really nothing to rant and rave about. Tasteless really. I also would have liked to see a restaurant use white albacore tuna instead of chunk light. The sandwich was also on cheese overload. Again, would have been better with maybe some tomato and onion on there. However, My boyfriend got a chicken finger bbq sandwich and said it was good. He described it as "good drunk food." (Haha) I most likely will not be returning due to the limited menu for someone who has food restrictions. More...
