My name is Shane Nolan. I am an athletic development trainer working with athletes and adults from all backgrounds. Whether you are preparing for college athletics or your first game of pickleball, I believe the principles remain the same - it is the modalities and methods that may vary slightly.

Great place to workout. My son is a football player who loves to workout here. Great people and awesome motivators. He has helped my son transform his body for football.

You will not be disappointed in this gym at all. All three of my kids are members here and they absolutely love it. My oldest son is now a freshmen in college on the Wrestling team lifting more then most on his team. GSPT is 100% the reason for this. The BEST, go check them out. More...
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
By listening, observing, and meeting them where they are at in order to properly get them to where they want to go. Coach-and-client is a delicate dance, but one I thoroughly enjoy. I few myself as more of a compass then as a map; I am not a hand-holding coach.
Though an easy person to get along with, I am not always easy to be coached by. Once we establish where you are at, we must begin to build on that. This requires challenging you. It is impossible to achieve new things without putting in work you have never done before.
Through building trust, listening, pressing a few buttons, and keeping training engaging I help my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
I love exploring the multitude of ways that folks challenge themselves and compete. We all know the three-sport high school star Hollywood scripted "jock". But what about the parent competing with their past troubles to become a better role model for their kids? What about the young professional competing with the traps of adult hood and poor mental health as they go out on their own for the first times? What about the Weekend Warrior running Tough Mudders to raise awareness for a worthy cause?
Training and competing are passions of mine because of the holistic lens I view them through - it is not about winning at all costs or grinding yourself down to a nub. It is about exploring the depths of your potential and seeing what the heck you can make happen for yourself and your loved ones.
