Favorite restaurant in Columbus! This place separates itself by offering quality food for a reasonable price. Service is always great, and always has a cozy feel inside. My favorite dish in all of Columbus is the Liberty Street Pasta (also called Fusilli Pasta), which is prepared in a Louisiana Crawfish sauce. I assure you it will be the best sauce you've ever tasted! I recommend adding grilled shrimp to it but it's not necessary. For a little crunch, add a side of tots to dip in the sauce.Other favorites include the calamari, gumbo, burger with the house mayo, and jambalaya. I will also mention they have a solid caesar. I been here many times and each time it got better. I like the place and the setting. The food was great,I got the brisket here and excellent choice on my hand but they made it better than any restaurant.

Wonderful place in Upper Arlington. Nice bar and the food is excellent! We especially like the sautéed fish and the Parmesan chicken! Definitely recommend

Reservation check in time was Friday September 16, 2022 8:15 P.M.Returned from restroom and one of the kitchen staff (big boisterous man in an apron) was sitting and cutting up with the customers, leaning on one of our tables shaking our drinks around. proceeds to the seats on the other side of and starts making poor natured jokes about Alzheimer's facilities lined with F-bombs and other vulgar language which my wife and I saw zero humor in having watched her mother die from this. No longer carried tiramisu, or raw oysters which are the 2 dishes we came for and the grilled chicken in the pasta was dry.Over 30 minute wait between appetizer and common pasta meal for party of 2.Over all was a let down when getting dressed up and expecting a better dining experience.On several occasion have patronized and rented out party room at the Gallo's Tap Room location on Bethel Rd. location with great results and good memories.Find it hard to believe that these 2 restaurants are under the same umbrella. I came here on a date with my boyfriend and it was such an amazing experience. First of all the waitress suggested a delicious wine option. We had the calamari appetizer and the sauce and topping was delicious and you could tell that it was fresh. Both of our entrees were some of the best dishes We've had in a while. The fried oysters were a little too done on the outside, and a bit under on the inside - i.e. the oil was too hot. Rookie mistake, no chops. The house salad had a dressing of salt. I think it's important to understand the context of this review. We are "young" and had plans to make the evening a whole night out on the town post dinner. Found this place earlier this year and have already been back several times, even though I like 30 min away. Haven't had a single bad dish and the staff is extremely friendly, including the owner himself. The filet mignon is amazing.

So sorry to report the disappointment I experienced tonight in what used to be my favorite local place. First, let me say that I visit this place once week, and have been for years. Tommy (owner and chef) is a master at the personal touch. In fact, most of the charm of this place is exactly that. The first time I came here years ago, Tommy overheard me asking the bartender about the Crystal hot sauce; and to my surprise, Tommy brought me a bottle to take home. Flash forward 5 years to tonight..... I walked in, pulled a chair from an empty table next to the bar, and was told by the bartender not to do that, because she was trying to keep the area open for servers to pass. Seemed fair enough. So, I stood at the bar, without a chair for 15 minutes and had a beer while waiting for an empty seat. Next thing I know, the hostess is pulling two chairs to the exact same spot at the bar, and proceeded to sit two people down. Here is the rub: when I asked the bartender what happened, she said "oh, I can still get through that area" and it was the exact same area I tried to sit 15 minutes prior. The best part is when I voiced my displeasure. I was told that I was wrong, and argued with by the bartender. I LOVE IT when a place argues with a loyal customer. Bottom line - certain people in this place get certain treatment. If you are an "insider" you will be fine. Otherwise, don't bother. Nice knowing you Tommy.
