Food was terrible, and the service was just as bad. Never got my drink refilled. Only a couple of comedians were good. The other were just rude and disgusting.

We were part of a group that came tonight. Dinner was good and entertainment was good. Owner walked around with no face mask along with some wait staff with either no masks or masks not properly worn in the middle of a rise in Covid cases. The owner was rude when we talked to him about our concerns and said that next week none of the staff would be wearing masks and that we could leave-of course that is after they got their money. Â He obviously doesn't really care about customers except for the money they bring in! Very disappointed! Will not be back any time soon and maybe never again which is unfortunate since we live in close proximity. More...

So we definitely found a new comedy and dinner venue yesterday at Visani's Comedy Theatre. Just an hour south right off the Interstate. I'm not exaggerating when I say the food was amazing! We both had steaks that couldn't have been more tender and delicious. The service was great and they made sure you were enjoying the dining experience. The staff made great recommendations that really paid off. The show was great and I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. So glad my friend Kathy invited me to join her as she was going to be part of a COMEDY contest. I had never been and was quite impressed with the place, the people and the food. Nick was our amazing and personable bartender/waiter and even though you could tell they were a bit shortstaffed, he was doing a great job taking care of us.I started with a glass of wine and MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER. The wine was great, the chowder, ( I don't believe I've had the Manhattan style since I moved to Florida 40 years ago) was not the best I ever had.However, the MUSSELS AMALFITANA that I ordered as my dinner were fantastic!!! The broth that they came in was so delicious I had to ask for a spoon so I could finish every drop. Everything is homemade there, I was told.Kathy ordered STEAK & ARUGULA SALAD, most of which went home with here because she was too nervous to eat before her performance (which went swell, by the way!)We had been given sliced bread with herbed butter to start and that too was quite tasty.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I really like Visanis, however I am extremely disappointed in the way they handled the cancellation of a show I was attending l, due to COVID-19, rather than refunding me my money they want to give me a credit. I do not think that that's appropriate. I also requested that they at least mail Me my gift card, since I live 35 minutes away, they would not, I feel this is a very poor way of doing business. My husband and I saw a music and comedy show in parking lot social distancing of cars you could bring a chair and sit outside they served drinks and dinner I give them 5 stars for changing the way they do business in these difficult times music comedy show and dinner were absolutely fabulous they were extremely organized food was just as fabulous as always we definitely will do this again
