The pumpkin burger is flavorful without having an overwhelming pumpkin flavor. It was delicious and would definitely get it again/recommend it. My husband got the Cuban with the salad andoved the salad. He also said the Cuban was good and the bowl was deceivingly "small". The staff was very friendly and attentive. It was just what you would expect from a small Texas town eatery. A very popular place to cool off on a hot day; so popular that the wait staff were pressed to keep up. Friendly people with good food. The wife appreciated "Sangria Saturday" and the Three-Cheese spinach dip was very good. I had the crab cake salad which was delicious, but could be improved with a few tweaks. The crackers and the lemon cookie that I found on my plate felt like a haphazard inclusion and were totally unnecessary. The lemon cookie I found embedded in my salad, and I had no idea what it was until I nibbled the edge. With those 2 items, the salad suffered an identity crisis. I did not like the canned peach pieces--they did not marry well to the salad and the tangy dressing but especially texturally. I realize fresh peaches are not cheap, but they are now on season. That said, I'm picky with crab cakes, and these were very tasty and not greasy. More...
