I was signed up months ago to take classes with the school. However within the seven days. I changed my mind and let them know. They have continued to take money out of my account until I had to put a stop order payment on it and change debit card. I wake up this morning to an amount that was taken out of my account, which is funny because they don’t have the new debit card information and stop payment order is still in place. They are going by once you sign up you can’t cancel blah blah blah and show me an electric signature. I never signed anything and anybody and copy and paste and type someone’s name in as a signature. Update: This is definitely a scam. They offered to reduce my plan but then they say oh but two of the 3 classes we'll remove to reduce your costs were free. My bill showed the cost I paid for each class so they could have just done the right thing at least truly reduce the cost and they still screw you over for a couple hundred dollars. Just complete low life company. Be careful and make sure if you try it out you must cancel within 7 days. If a company really valued their product it wouldn't be so short. I contacted them on day eight since I didn't pay close enough attention and of course there is nothing they can do. I could understand a fee, but nothing is ridiculous. It is pretty scammy if you ask me. I didn't go in thinking I would want to back out but the material is all reading, a couple very short videos on the subject you are on. The quizzes are extremely basic and have the same 10 questions. Also they schedule all your classes to be done by the same date not giving you the true opportunity to go at your own pace. I have 6 10 week classes to be done in less than a year. If that would have been mentioned I wouldn't have signed up for the amount I did. This company called my husband and coerced him into an agreement with them for personal training classes. Initially my husband attempted to reach out to no avail to commence the program and the woman he spoke to did not know the proper instructions to give him. They are saying this was in February, now we are in October and they just took $199 off his card and are saying he owes them close to $2000 more, not to mention oh the class has expired. They have a good scam going here, especially because they won’t let you off the phone talking about some verbal signature, which not to mention he never gave. When I became passionate about going through my group fitness instructor as well as my personal trainer certification, I spent a lot of time researching who best to gain these skills from. I have to say I paid so much money for 2 or 3 trainings and they only give you a certain time frame but you have to get the package to get the so called deal and when time runs out you have to pay more money to be about to complete the course. It was nearly impossible for me to do all 2 or 3 courses when I'm a Single mother of 4 with 1 who was leaving home for school working 2 full time jobs, finding ways to get my children to and from school to sports and doing the courses. Then they have reps call you to offer you more courses. When I stated how unhappy I was due to the first round I got what can I do to make it better. Coming from a guy who passed his personal training exam through ISSA. ISSA is a joke of a company and not recognized in the trainer/coaching world. This company tried to pull a fast one on me & after that, I immediately lost all respect for this company. I literally threw my certificate in the trash along with some textbooks. I paid ISSA off like 6 months before I even completed my course. They had a money back guarantee with if you have no luck with a personal trainer job. Of course, I didn't because most gyms don't accept ISSA. So, I requested my money back & the next day I get an email saying I owe about $600. Coincidentally, that's about the amount of money I was getting refunded. I called the school and spoke to the highest up person I could & chewed him out. I had a receipt, an invoice and an email confirmation that my account balance had been paid off from when I paid it off. He told me he would call me back and he never did. Well I am on the fence about my review because I am pleased with my personal training course but my issue is that I paid for 4 courses and had things beyond my control happen ( including covid) which put me a lil behind on my class. I ultimately ended up paying more to complete 2 out of my 4 classes. I called asking for some help getting back on track now that I can afford the time off to do this and was told I would need to repurchase both of the lost courses and then told well AT LEAST YOU GOT 2 OUT OF 4 its not like you paid 50000 dollars for 4 years of college 🤯 I will say that the personal training certification was a great learning experience but I would have loved to have my nutrition certification to go with it for a specific job I wanted when i started this journey!
