As photographers, Melinda was an absolute gem to work with on a recent wedding!! After asking us how much time we would need for everything and taking our requests into account, she sent all of the vendors a detailed timeline prior to the wedding day with pictures of everyone so we would recognize the other vendors. She was respectful of the time we needed throughout the wedding day to ensure the bride and groom would get the best possible pictures. Throughout the ENTIRE wedding day, we saw her go above and beyond for her bride and groom with all kinds of requests! She also was incredibly considerate of us, made sure we had adequate time for photography throughout the day, and had in mind what would be helpful for photos. She was respectful, sweet, easygoing, detail-oriented, organized, positive, and joyful! She has an incredibly calm demeanor, was very flexible with changes that came up throughout the day, and If Facebook lets me, I will post a picture in the comments of the smile that she literally had on her face the entire day! It was evident that she absolutely loves her jobs and serving her couples! I would recommend her in a heartbeat for planning your day!! Seriously one of the best planners we have worked with so far! I really don't know where to start. From the moment I met Melinda I knew I had to have her be a part of my day. She really made my day into everything that I could have asked for! I have actually waited a few days after my wedding so I could sit down and give Melinda and her team the appropriate amount of time they deserve on this review. I'll start off by saying I was so nervous about planning my wedding because I am no kind of event planner and did not have much help from family or friends. From the first conversation I had with Melinda Fay I knew she was an answered prayer. She's so positive and kind and I felt like I was talking to a friend. She really loves what she does and I think that makes all the difference. Not to mention she is amazingly detail oriented which put my mind at ease. She was always always there to answer my questions and give advice when I needed it. From start to finish she put together our perfect day! Melinda was our planner, coordinator, and did all the flowers and decor! I had a vision and she executed it perfectly. Everyone loved it!! Her and her team set everything up and broke it all down. All we had to do was show up and Enjoy our special day! Another big thank you to Seyi for all your help and the excellent bar tending services!! I started to work with Melinda few months ago when I met with her and one of her couples for cake tasting. She is such a nice person and she is always so happy! Every time I see her she give me a big smile and big hug! She responded to my messages in a very timely manner. Few days before the wedding Melinda sent the time line to all the vendors involved in the wedding. I was very impressed with all the specific details of the event. In the document, Melinda included pictures and logos of all the vendors. I already knew some vendors, but not all of them. So I thought it was a nice touch! When I delivered the cake Melinda was busy setting up the event, but she still took the time to helped adding fresh flowers to the wedding cake. I don't even know where to start. I am so grateful to have met Melinda and have her be a part of our day. We met by chance and she was amazing from day one. Everything that I needed she was quick to help with and always kept me calm and on track. We faced a lot of difficult decisions but she made sure that everything would run as smoothly as it possibly could. I am lucky enough to now call her one of my good friends and so thankful for it. Mel was extremely helpful. She helped with my day of planning and even made the bouquets and boutonnières so I could relax on my special day. Melinda is absolutely amazing. She has been the saving grace in so many aspects of my wedding thus far, I really couldn't thank her enough! Although I've known Mel for a while, working with her has always been a treat. She not only gives great advice, but she works to your every need. She will take your idea and run with it but is not overbearing at ALL (which is what I was super hesitant about having a wedding planner in the first place).
