This place is like a Mediterranean Chipotle. In which you can select a base and toppings ect. I had the rice with falafel and all the free veg, spicy hummus and taziki. It was good and help up for some left overs the next day. More...

From old factory to olfactory. We're visiting from Virginia and sought a cool lunch after enjoying the botanical gardens. Fresno Grill shares a common dining area (both outside and cool) with a number of takeout restaurants with different themes . They are all constructed in a former industrial facility, hence the title. We were in the mood for Mediterranean, so we chose Fresko Grill. The model is "build your own," starting with a bowl or a wrap and filling it to your taste. 1) rice/lentils 2) protein/felafel/roast veggies 3) salad 4) sauces 5) garnishes etc. the ingredients are toothsome and fresh. Service was friendly and helpful negotiating all the options efficiently. Very refreshing light meal that was perfect for two overheated tourists. Super impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious. Had two bowls, both with falafel and a variety of toppings. I've eaten tons of "Mediterranean" food, and have worked for 3 different middle eastern restaurants all over the country, and this is on par with some of the best I've had. The employees were extremely helpful and patient when deciding what I could eat since I don't eat meat, dairy or eggs. I was excited to try it. I got a bowl with falafel, rice and veggies and while the service was pretty good, I wasn't a fan of the taste. I went home and seasoned it up a bit and it was better, but I just don't think this place was for me. More...
