Came from Fort Collins and saw this charming little cafe around the corner and gave it a shot. So glad I did! Got the Apple Grilled Chicken sandwich and was blown away by the carefully crafted flavors. Will totally be visiting again next time I find myself downtown Loveland. Recommend!! More...

Had a vow exchange/wedding and they "catered". We helped bring things in which wouldn't normally bother us. We had a specific time for pick up and I had to call them 30 minutes after the time only to be asked to wait 3 extra hours for them to come get their things. I said no so we were asked to clean up their mess and leave things outside. When we discussed our frustrations with the owner we got a horribly rude response with argumentative behavior. Not acceptable for their over prices food and terrible catering service. My husband and I are both in the service industry and know how much it means to have the best possible service. Warning: the employees are great but the owner is horrible, if I could give negative stars I would. Very disrespectful manner, she did not do what we paid for, had to break down our catering when promised a time. We had a wedding celebration and folks from all over the country and had to loose an hour of our time together to do the catering job. When we called to get a refund, the owner was very disrespectful and rude, and would not accommodate our needs. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Mondays gotta be rough at the Fresh Plate, me and a friend went there around 2pm and there was no one there except one person working. Since Mondays are So rough she forgot that we ordered coffee with our sandwiches and when my friend reminded her later hastily split whatever was on hand into two mugs. Not to say that I didn't like the food, absolutely delicious. My only regret is not asking her out to get coffee later maybe dinner too... I'm getting off topic. I found this little gem by accident and have been there 3 days this week already. I am obsessed with the berries and greens salad and both sandwiches I have tried are absolutely delightful! (May have another tomorrow!) I also love their fresh juices. The atmosphere is inviting and it's incredibly clean. Tracie was our caterer for our wedding reception and we absolutely loved all of the food she and her team at Fresh Plate prepared for us and our guests. Everything was healthy, delicious, affordable, and we had tons of options. Tracie worked so well with our wedding coordinator, our cake bakers, and she helped us put out family prepared hors d'oeuvres during our cocktail hour. Tracie labeled all of our dishes- which was much appreciated by our guests with eating restrictions. To top it all off, Tracie’s face lit up when we asked her if she could make a Bolivian salsa that she had never heard of as one of our main condiments. She happily took my husband's family recipe and made it from scratch- such a huge hit with my in-laws! Tracie is easy to work with, she’s friendly, fun, and she makes such amazing food. 10/2/17 Had lunch at the Café today, we both had what was supposed to be a pot roast sandwich, but turned out to be a corned beef sandwich, it didn't have much meat for the price ($9) and all you get for that price is a sandwich, two slices of pickle and a parsley stem for decoration. The Oregon Chai tea ($2.50) was a tea bag in water, you add the 1/2 and 1/2 and sugar, nothing frothy or wonderful about it.
