There seems to be a trend here with this place not delivering as promised, or at all since they changed ownership. Ordered an arrangement to be delivered to long time dear friends for Christmas. They never received the order and all calls to the store go to an answering service and are never returned. We will contest the credit card charge and will tell all in Barrington far and wide to avoid these crooks like the plague. More...

I ordered a small flower arrangement to be delivered to my daughter on her 13th birthday at 8:00AM before school even though I knew that was before business hours. I have ordered flowers from The Fresh Flower Market in the past. My very special birthday lunch was approaching. I wanted several flower arrangements for all the tables. When ordering, I mentioned that I had a particular love for the dragonfly...You found not only two beautiful clear vases with the dragonfly, but 4 little pails with the dragonfly....The floral arrangements were to be on the tables for my birthday party Sunday, July 2.....They arrived the day prior...I am in awe that these beautiful flowers are as fresh and lovely as when they arrived - a week ago today. I have ordered from the Fresh Flower Market at least five times; two of those times they went above and beyond to help me out. They've done four funeral arrangements for me and they were all beautiful. I've ordered over the phone, online and in-store, all were great experiences and the results were as expected if not better. They are gracious and helpful when ordering.They are closed on Sundays. Last year, I ordered four silver cups filled with white roses for a Sunday event, to be picked up by close on Saturday. My friend who was supposed to pick up the flowers forgot; the shop called me to see if we were still coming, and even stayed open past hours so my friend could get them. This past Saturday, I got a call about an unexpected death and a funeral the next day. I called to see if they could still put something together to deliver despite the late notice (4:00pm). They were not only willing and able to do so, but the arrangement was lovely - they had warned me that their colors might be limited due to the holidays, but it was very close to the photo I referenced from their web site.I will continue to look to the Fresh Flower Market for my flower orders, you cannot go wrong. I'm not from the area and called the Fresh Flower Market late in the afternoon to see if they could deliver flowers to a relative in Barrington who needed to know she was loved while dealing with a tough situation. The woman on the phone at the Fresh Flower Market was understanding, compassionate and made sure the flowers got delivered within a few hours. They did my friend's flowers for her reception in Bartlett - even the caterer was blown away. It's refreshing to go to a flower shop & see flowers you don't see anywhere else. The prices are higher then going to a grocery store but the flowers last. The staff was very friendly, greeted us as soon as we walked in- but most importantly knowledgeable about flowers. She wanted something different & memorable & she got it here. The other guests were fighting over the centerpieces. We both joined their VIP card(for free) & save each time we buy flowers here.
