This was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. The fact that they do one wedding a weekend took so much stress away knowing that we weren't "competing" with other events for time and service. The country house was the best for getting ready and hanging out with my girls before hand not to mention the photos turned out amazing! Our ceremony was in the barn which is stunning with the most minimal decorations. Matt and his staff were so accommodating and showed me multiple set ups for our day. Our reception was in the winery/barrel room. Again I had minimal decorations, who needs them when your backdrop is wine barrels?! When we got back from taking photos in the vineyard/apple orchard we arrived to guests playing lawn games and enjoying the outdoor space and all the wonderful wines, what a great transition! We had space for everyone to dance, relax, hang out at the bar without being terribly spread out but also not being cramped. I have lost count of the number of compliments we received about the venue and the staff. I wish I could get married again just to work this group again! More...

Went for Mother's Day brunch.  Was looking for something a little different than the typical brunch.  Found this place online by accident.  What a fantastic find.  The food was excellent.  The staff was very friendly.  The tables were set up in the area where the wine is made so the ambiance was great.  We didn't get to enjoy much of the outside scenery since it was a cold day.  Would definitely like to go back!  The 2017 Chardonnay was excellent as well.  Website said to make reservation by email which I did.  Received a response within an hour.  It was definitely appreciated to get such quick response. Hidden gem. Only stars 4  s this time because  BOTH our lunches lacked a "main" ingredient.. the "turkey bacon panini" had no bacon BUT had a wonderful apple stuffing instead, and the walnut apple cranberry feta salad had not one walnut lol Also they were out of the  2013 resiling noted on the lunch menu ; however!..the 2016 was exceptional!!! And in all fairness, they did tell us after our meal that the lunch menu was going to be changing.  All in all it was a  good meal, nice service , (good view !) friendly staff and owners.   We Can't wait to try it again for dinner ---Thursdays-Sunday 4-6/8 pm More...

Newly opened restaurant as of just a few weeks ago. Ava's table is located at Freedom Run Winery, just a short drive from Amherst and most Northtown suburbs. Had stopped at the winery earlier in the week for a wine tasting and learned of this new restaurant (it was on a day the restaurant is not open so be sure to check the schedule and in advance). Had the opportunity to meet one of the partners (Michelle) and was impressed with her enthusiasm as well as the menu offerings which prompted a return visit for dinner last night. My only disappointment is that we did not take more pictures because not only did the food taste wonderful, the presentation was great too! On that note, we also had the opportunity to meet Chef Jennifer (other partner) after our meal was over. We wish these two well because this new business is certainly one that deserves to prosper. The food was plentiful and is of exceedingly high-quality. The charcuterie platter (cheese, meats, fresh fruit) was more than enough for four people to share, and had a tremendous variety, looked beautiful, and was delicious. Quite honestly, it could serve as a whole meal for two light eaters. The salads are huge and fresh. The various entrée specials offerings for the evening were large portions of meat, pasta, vegetables and/or seafood. Again delicious! We all took home leftovers. No doubt, we will return regularly. This place offers gourmet quality food in a relaxed setting (indoors and outdoors). Rarely would I say to a business owner that their their portions were too big and prices were too low but I did this night. One word sums it up: Quality.  My suggestion is to try this place soon because when the word gets out, I think getting a reservation will soon become difficult. More...

We had our wedding reception here this past summer in the barn. It was absolutely perfect. The barn and grounds were so gorgeous and a fun alternative to a large ballroom type reception. Anita is the easiest person to work with! She truly cares about her brides and will do what she needs to so your day will be perfect. My family also rented out the Manor House for the night before and night of the wedding. What a cool place! So beautifully decorated and well maintained. (Plus the wine is great too!) Would highly recommend this location for any couple! Fair price for what you get too compared to other locations we visited! More...

This venue has amazing views. My husband and I were looking for a venue that was not just a ballroom in a hotel and somewhere we haven't been several times already for weddings. This venue was perfect for us. It is a little pricey, but worth it. The bartenders were wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Anita (coordinator) was very friendly and always willing to research and follow up when she didn't have an answer. Evan (the other coordinator) was amazing, a ray of sunshine and willing to work to make you as happy as possible. I'm sad the wedding is over so I don't get to bug these two anymore! It does take a more 'hands on' person as you either have to hire a decorator or decorate yourself prior but it doesn't take much to make the place look amazing either in the barn or in the winery. Also, you have to work with both this vendor and a caterer, but it does open up more possibilities on food options to make your wedding exactly what you want and as expensive as you want. I am very happy I went with Freedom Run for my wedding, it was a perfect day. More...

The venue was beautiful and unique. We loved it and all of our guests loved it. The only issue I had with them was resolved. There were some communication issues and the same questions were asked of me and answered multiple times, but the non-responsive party actually left there for another job. The bartenders were fantastic, the wine is delicious and the options for your wedding are endless. More...
