What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up, difficult experiences, poor choices, and mental health issues lead to low self-esteem and a false view of myself. Through my own healing journey, I became inspired me to help others overcome the same things I encountered. I spent time working in an adolescent psychiatric hospital, and from 2011 - 2017, served as Director and Facilitator of a local chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA). During this time, I completed Pastoral Counselor training through Network 220 and Healing Grace Ministries.
After three years of working as a Pastoral Counselor, I launched Freedom Path Counseling to focus my complete attention on serving hurting people in the Gwinnett County area. My greatest passion is seeing struggling people experience healing and restoration in their lives.

I am a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor through the Board of Examiners for Georgia Christian Counselors and Therapists. I have been extensively trained in the Exchanged Life Counseling Model and I'm a licensed Minster in the State of Georgia. I've also received Certification as a Prepare / Enrich Premarital and Marriage Facilitator. In addition, I have studied at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Luther Rice College & Seminary.
