Food was very delicious. Previously, we felt the restaurant had a bit of an identity crisis, but it's focus is now more controlled. The new menu is narrowed, which is a positive. The biggest concern is the price. They are on the upper end of the dining budget. I ordered the steak mac-n-cheese, it was $23, and the portion was smaller than expected. What a hidden gem! We were looking for a place to eat and just happened upon the full parking lot and decided it must be pretty good, so we went in. And we were so wrong, it wasn't "pretty good", it was GREAT!!! We shared the prime rib, the best we've ever had in a restaurant! Tender and juicy and tasty!! We rented out their private room for our event and the event coordinator, Megan, was absolutely amazing. We were able to create a custom menu and everything was so professional. The servers during our event, Melissa, Ashley and Megan, were phenomenal...so kind, attentive, timely, and went above and beyond to make this an outstanding and memorable occasion. Ive never been to this restaurant in fact im from Massachusetts but I’ll definitely be visiting on my trip down in August. As a business owner myself it always makes me upset when I see people leaving the type of reviews that other man left about your server (who I hope is ok and feeling well.) Regardless even if she wasnt sick people have bad days, mistakes happen and unless an establishment is downright rude to you about it (which it doesnt sound like you were, from the looks of it you had a lot more patience and professionalism than I would be able to have for someone in a situation like that) theres no reason to be upset and leave a review like that to hurt a business, especially this day and age where the internet can help you sink or swim. Even though I’ve never been here after reading countless 4 and 5 star reviews about stellar food and service I’m comfortable giving you 5 star! See you in August! More...
