Frankie is the best. Very attentive, careful, smart. He really knows what he is talking about, and is helpful around mobility issues and working around and through injuries.

My wife and I have been training with Frankie for almost a year now. Every session is fast moving and full of surprises and changing routines. .. never dull or repetitive! Without Frankie, I would have been sinking deeper and deeper into terminal sloth status! And most importantly, he's got a great sense of humor! Cannot recommend high enuf! More...

I have been training with Frankie for as many years as he has been training. In my 20's I had many issues with my back including scoliosis, and sciatica. Frankie has led me through years of challenging programs that have increased not only my physical strength but mental strength as well (sciatica gone - scoliosis managed). He has the unique ability to assess my needs on a weekly basis and then follow through with a tailor-made regime even in class with several others! Frankie introduced Kettle-Bell training to us several years ago. This has increased my core-strength in ways that years of "gym weights" did not. At 55, I am in best shape of my life - Truly! For years I have struggled with lower back pain and poor posture (rounded shoulders). When I first started training with Frankie two years ago, he immediately addressed these issues and incorporated them into our workouts. With consistent and specific stretches and exercises at his direction, I have nearly eliminated my lower back pain, and completely changed my posture. In addition, I have become much stronger and more flexible. Frankie has also helped me set specific fitness goals including weight loss and muscle definition targeting specific “trouble” areas. Through his superior training and by introducing me to the Paleo diet and “clean eating”, his instruction, encouragement and unyielding support have made it possible for me to achieve these goals. As I turn 40, I feel stronger and more confident in my body than I ever did in my 20’s. Friends and family often comment about how great I look and much of that I owe to Frankie. The best! Frankie is an incredible trainer and teacher. I highly recommend his class! I moved to the Bay Area a while ago and still miss this class immensely. Finally found a trainer up here and, no surprise to me, he said, "Whoever trained you before really knew what he was doing, your form is fantastic." All I said was, "Frankie Mecono!" Throughout high school I was on the Track and Field team. During freshman year I started to develop bad back problems as well as shin splints from my explosive events (vault, high jump, long jump, sprints). I started going to Frankie my sophomore year and it was a game changer. My strength in the gym grew as well as my strength on the field. My back problems had disappeared and my shin splints were gone. Frankie knew all the exercises that I needed to do in order to improve my weak spots as well as improve my strengths. I am now going to college and no longer work with him but the back problems that I have had in the past have never come back and that alone makes all the workouts SO worth it. More...

I came to Frankie with a messed up back due to improper posture. Frankie's training has changed the way I move and hold myself. I've had people tell me I look like a whole new person. My core has much more strength than it's ever had and I feel great. I get some minor setbacks here and there, but my recovery time is greater than ever. I began working with Frankie after recovering from a third lower back surgery in four years due to herniated discs. Our work together involved functional strength and movements along with the paleo diet. Because of what Frankie taught me and continued work with kettle bells and paleo I have lost 30 lbs, strengthened my entire body, and move much better. I have been training with Frankie for several years. Prior to working with Frankie I had experience working with several other Personal Trainers. What makes Frankie a great trainer is his total focus on his client and his attention to the client's form and execution.Two other things about Frankie that stand out for me are that Frankie prepared a personalized, weekly nutrition regimen for me, and he also prepared a personalized workout for me to use when I am out of town.Partly due to my workouts with Frankie, I was able to participate in my first Triathlon at age 49, and to finish in a respectable time.I would gladly recommend Frankie as a Personal Trainer.(my 8 year old replaced my icon with the pink dog; it wasn't me) More...

Better Golf! I have worked with Frankie for many years. Our focus has been overall fitness. Recently, Frankie suggested that he thought he could help me improve my golf game by concentrating our focus on certain specific work during our training sessions. We zeroed in on incremental core strength, flexibility, and nutrition. After several months, the improvement in my fitness, flexibility, and general sense of well being is incredible.
