Melissa was easy to work with and accommodating of what my needs were for our big day. We traveled from out of town for our wedding and I was in quite the bind unable to find a baker with availability to provide a cake for our wedding. I wish I could upload pictures to give a better idea of what our cakes looked like on the day of! I was little nervous since we weren't able to do a cake tasting beforehand and had to go off reviews. But they were both beautiful, one being a semi-naked 3-tier vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and a chocolate frosting grooms cake. They also tasted amazing and everyone mentioned how delicious the cakes were! She also made sure that I could decorate it as we wanted with our fur baby figurines displayed on the main cake and the chocolate cake with a hunting theme. And I loved that she offered gluten-free products so we added a few gluten-free cupcakes that were just as cute to accommodate some of our other guests dietary requests. melissa was the best! we decided to elope/have a small family wedding super last minute and she was able to squeeze us in for a testing and the big day. the cake was a huge hit, and she was able to work outside of her traditional menus and give us my husband’s favorite flavor. she also handled our cake topper and decorated our cake beautifully. we cannot recommend her enough, and can’t wait to use her for more events! I contacted Melissa a few weeks before my wedding as my cake plans had fallen through. She quickly answered all of my questions and was able to bring my small cake idea to life. I was able to add on cupcakes as well which worked out perfectly because my husband wanted a chocolate cake and I wanted red velvet. We were able to both get what we wanted! After debating for a bit I reached back out to her to add on a dozen decorated cookies. I wanted something I could ship to my grandparents as they weren’t able to travel for the wedding and I wanted to share something with them. The cookies were my favorite part! On top of having such delicious cakes, Melissa was an absolute gem! She was so kind when we visited her shop for our cake tasting. My husband and I traveled throughout Italy for a summer and we expressed interest in doing a tiramisu inspired cake. She was so excited to develop a personal recipe to represent a sweet part of our relationship! The cake was delicious and the marscapone icing she made was TO DIE FOR! We ordered a naked wedding cake for my son's destination wedding in Pigeon Forge with no more than a month's notice and no way of doing a tasting since we live in St. Louis. Melissa and her crew were absolutely wonderful! They answered all of my and the bride's questions and helped us get just the right flowers for the cake. We couldn't have been happier. I even got extra frosting! The cake was delivered to our AirBnb early in the morning and allowed us to get to their 9am wedding with no problems. Plus, it tasted phenomenal! Melissa was amazing EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. We lucked out and found her at an Open House event at our venue and I just really liked her right away. The macarons MAY have had something to do with that, but she was really easy to talk to right away and my now-husband and I just got a good feeling about her. She was gracious enough to meet us in Knoxville to pick up our cake topper, and she was flexible when I told her kinda last minute that we decided we wanted to use wraps on our cupcakes. Really just THE BEST and so easy to work with. Wedding Anniversary cupcake sampler! Bradley and I love celebrating our milestone anniversaries by recreating a mini version of our wedding cake.
