Dr. Steve and his staff are, by far, amazing. There are so many things I sincerely appreciate every single time I need to go into their office. But most is that they treat my chihuahua Zeus and I, with such kindness and support. We have been getting acupuncture for Zeus for close to 2 months now, which has worked wonders. Recently we had a little health scare- Tammy got me in to see Dr. Steve within hours & Zeus was in the best of hands. I brought my German Shepherd Dog into Four Paws Wellness Center for a well-care visit, basically a canine physical examination. This was my first visit to Dr. Steve Blauvelt's practice. My dog usually gets frightened when we visit a veterinary office.  Dr. Steve was great with her.  He immediately got down on the floor with her, petted her gently and spoke softly to her.  She responded by kissing him on the face. He then offered her a treat which she accepted.  Rarely does she accept a treat from a stranger.  Lady, my dog, soon became relaxed as Dr. Steve began the examination. I was really impressed by Dr. Steve's manner with my dog.  I was also impressed that he took his time to learn about her. His rates are also reasonable and he does not push for unnecessary tests or treatment.  He's the real deal, in my opinion.  I give Dr. Steve a thumbs up!  Thanks, Dr. Steve! More...

Dr. Steve and his staff are kind, caring, and exceptionally competent. Whether you are interested in eastern or western methods, Dr. Steve can provide them and he does so with great respect for the animal and its owners. He is willing to take the time to answer your questions, and, again, he does so with a joy in his work I have yet to see in any vet. Five stars for everyone in that office. Dr. Steven Blauvelt has been working wonders for our 21 year old cat.  He has been doing acupuncture to help her arthritic legs and she is responding great to it.  He has also been helping with an on going UTI that he is helping us monitor and prevent through herbal remedies and the acupuncture treatments.  Having a cat live to 21 yrs old is no easy feat, and I would not trust my baby with just anyone.  Dr. Blauvelt is knowledgeable and trust worthy.  So glad we found him.
