DESIGN DIRECTION

After an initial walk through, we will compile our notes, our conversations and the needs of your home/family. We will then recommend a design direction that will complement the architecture of your home, and move the overall aesthetic of the home in a cohesive, visually pleasing and comfortable direction.

Once contracted, we will refine this direction as it related to specific rooms.

USE/ FLOW

This is a high-level assessment of how your use your space currently, and how we will help you to reimagine how you live in it. Sometimes this means a reshuffle of the current uses, and others it could mean adding on completely new rooms.

CONTRACTOR VETTING/ PRIORITIZATION

We will coordinate a few contractors to come and asses your space. We usually recommend three. This best happens concurrently with design for the most accurate estimate. If you have already selected a contractor, we will work with them to make sure they are able to make the vision come to life.

PROGRAMMING

We will develop floor plans, or work with your architect to make sure everyone is on the same page as to how you need to arrange your space. We will also work on specific details such as furniture placement and millwork options. We also provide CAD drawings, and renderings upon request. (Estimates include CAD drawings necessary for space planning

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

This is the most collaborative part of the process that includes a few round of feedback on design direction and product. This stage might also include a day of showroom visits or in person shopping. Once we have aligned and selected all products and materials, we will have a final presentation in our studio with as many samples, materials and swatches as possible.
SPECIFYING/ ORDERING

When you've approved everything we’ve presented, it's time to get to buying. We’ll turn proposals into invoices, collect payment and purchase all furniture needed for your space. All furniture sales go through Forward Fruit.

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT/ TRACKING

After ordering is complete, we track inventory and facilitate the scheduling of deliveries with our vendors and carriers to ensure all pieces are accounted for. For larger furniture orders, we will recommend using a ship and hold facility to keep products and boxes out of your home until necessary.

INSTALL/ BUILD - PROJECT MGMT

We schedule efficient and effective site visits that align with key junctures in the build process.

STYLE

After the dust is cleared and packages are delivered comes the best part - installation day! For local clients, we’ll bring in our team to style and set everything up just the way we imagined it, including all accessories and art.
