Today I went in to get a facial with April. She's not only an excellent esthetician, very knowledgeable and super sweet, but she also transformed my hair last minute. I had had it done 4 days prior, asking for highlights (my natural color is dark brunette), but the other salon turned my hair ORANGE! April offered to help undo the awful color and put natural Browns and highlights in my hair, removing the orange, and it looks amazing!!! I'm very happy with April's work! This place is worth it!!!! I was searching for a salon that offers hair color and micro blading. I saw a post on Facebook and reached out to the owner. He offered us a great deal for my wife's birthday. She got a hair cut and color, Brazilian blow-out and micro-blading. This place was quite comfortable while I waited on my wife to finish her hair. Went to this salon to have my hair colored. My stylist (and friend) was Rachel. Even though we'd discussed what I wanted done previously, we talked about it again while I was in her chair. She told me exactly what she'd do to achieve my color goals before getting started.

The experience was wonderful. The salon is clean and they have huge full-length, vanity style mirrors at every station. My color turned out exactly the way I wanted and I'm considering going back to get a facial! I'll definitely go back to Rachel for my hair care needs! More...

Absolutely loved my experience here. I have pretty thick hair and it's a pain to work with, but Amelia really took her time and was super careful with both the cut and the color. I absolutely love this place. Schedule an appointment now. You will not regret it. I discovered them through a Groupon I purchased for my daughter. I bought her a full makeup application. I brought her in and my 1 year old. While I sat and waited the owner asked if I wanted a consultation from Martha. I had a terrible haircut and immediately said "yes". Martha sat me down and immediately had a fix. She let me have my 1 year old in my lap as she washed and cut my hair. It was perfect. I've never had a "wash and go" haircut. But she did it. Plus she styled my hair for my night out.
To top it off my oldest daughter had her makeup done and she looked so beautiful. We were planning to go out dinner and we both felt beautiful. Thank you so much. Can't wait for my next appointment! More...

Before my appointment we had a little mixup/ misunderstanding when it came to a deal I had seen online for color, however, Martika understood where I was coming from and stood by me through that situation. Based on Martika, I give five stars. A lot of the time when I go to salons it's more of a chore and a lot of waiting and getting bored, however, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Martika. The time I was there it went by fast because she is very personable and conversational (not the generic conversation you would normally have every time with a stylist). At the beginning of my appointment we had a consultation and she set the right expectations, walking me through the steps she would take to achieve my hair color (I did not get a cut). I had her full, undivided attention which was nice because at most places I find my stylist running around trying to do 500 things at once between clients. I highly recommend Martika at Fortees Salon and thank her for a great experience and adding dimension to my previously brassy, dull hair. More...

Wow. I am as so impressed with this salon!  This was my first visit, and I will definitely be back. Zachary did a great job, my hair is exactly how I wanted it!  The salon is very clean, and the staff super friendly. I came here from a Groupon so my expectations weren't very high.  Many places do a crappy job because they get paid less.  The owner, Eddie, greeted me when I arrived and was great .  My appointment was with Darcy.  I was in for a microderm and facial.  She did a great job of explaining process and educate me on how to take better care of my face.  Boy was I doing it all wrong!At the end of the day I couldn't pick a bad thing to say.  There were a few others on there getting their hair done and other things.  I suspect it could be hard to get an appointment as time goes on.  Keep up the good work! Having a high-quality salon within walking distance from my house is a game changer. My hair stylist Yukino Boice has repeatedly cut my hair to perfection. If I ever have any problems with my hair she immediately addresses the issue and fixes it. The atmosphere of the salon is calm and relaxing with a great playlist of music.
