Don't pass this place up! Although it may not be pretty from the outside it's a complete gem inside! Great decor, friendly staff, large clean restroom with nice changing area for small kiddos. Extensive menu with great choices. I had the steak salad with sweet potato fries instead of regular fries..yum!!. Â Steak was so soft I could cut it with my fork and medium rare was perfect. Great place for steaks. But even better are the buffets for special occassions. So many choices and all hot and delicious. So matter what the day stop in and treat yourself. As this is my first time ever being to this establishment, and by far I highly recommend it, I ordered the 10oz Haddock Dinner, with vegetables and side salad. .. I was very impressed with their house Italian dressing a salad that was actually a salad instead of just lettuce and tomatoes, when it came to my dinner, the fish was completely awesomely cooked to perfection in my eyes, and being a former restaurant cook that says quite bit, the vegetables, I'm not sure what was one them for seasoning but they were absolutely delicious as well... reading other reviews in here I've seen some saying pricey WHAT PRICY appears you never ate at a Country Pride or Iron Skillet in a TA or Petro Truck Stop... this price beats their price by far, I'm now a truck driver have to eat at those often, $10.59 was my total bill for what had at the truck stops I would have paid at least $15 or more. My family and I, a party of 15, ate here this past Thanksgiving and were beyond impressed. The selection of the holiday buffet was extensive. Everything I had was delicioua. Traditional thanksgiving food, as well as Italian cruise, desserts, and a nice selection for kids. We've decided to make it a family tradition and come back next year, and probably for Easter, too!! This is an excellent steak house and was a great dining experience.My wife and I recently moved to DuBois and had heard mixed reviews about the only true steak house in town. We decided to try it out anyhow and we are really glad we did. We were greeted immediately when we walked in. They got us our seats right away and our waitress Tasha was very attentive, super friendly, and helped us have a great experience all around.We had the italian stuffed mushrooms and garlic butter wings with some Parmesan added to them. Both appetizers were very tasty and worth every penny. I had the ribs and steak combo. The steak was fantastic. Excellent cut of meat w/ just a touch of smokey flavor from how it was grilled. The ribs were just okay and were smothered in what I feel was too much bbq sauce. My wife's steak was excellent, if undercooked a little, which they fixed w/ no problems.The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. It was everything we could have wanted for a night out. Went to Fort Worth 3 yrs ago for an anniversary dinner with a party of 10. Waitress was fantastic and the food was even better! Our party members were from Indiana, Lockhaven, Dubois and Tampa FL. We ordered steaks all around and each was cooked to perfection. Good food, good drinks, prompt friendly service and so much fun, that we're going back tomorrow night. Can't wait! More...
