Forget Me Not Flowers & Gifts

I was a 4th generation family member of a rose nursery when I was young. My hubby was 2nd generation. We both worked there 20 years until imports made it very difficult to make a living so we left to work in other jobs in the SF Bay Area & now we are both newly retired. We like to think we know quality when we see it; we used to take roses home from work to test ( nice perk!) & some varieties we had for 3 weeks before we got sick of them or they got old. Fresh roses right from the greenhouse truly last...Having said THAT...we are picky! So when my hubby ordered roses for our anniversary, he ordered from our favorite florist so I could have a bouquet delivered to our home, then again from this florist because they were close by to the restaurant where we had our dinner celebration. The roses were truly lovely; a gorgeous red with nice large heads that were fresh & perfect. The presentation was just right for our table, the perfect length so that we could see each other & the bouquet had just a few little things in it so that the roses were the focal point. The roses lasted over a week & I was happy with that. Someone who knew how to arrange put this together; sometimes there is so much junk in a bouquet that it's a mess. Not so with my roses. I can't emphasize how happy I am that I went with Forget Me Not Flowers & Gifts for my wedding! I met with Amy a few times to go over my vision and go over the details on what types of flowers to use and the arrangement sizes/etc. She was able to advise me on what would look best at my venue while staying within my budget. I was also very impressed that at our first meeting she had a demo bridal bouquet made based on Pinterest photos I had sent her. Although I had an idea of what the flowers were going to look like, on the day of the wedding I was BLOWN away with how spectacular & magical they looked and how much it transformed the venue. Update: Went to the shop to get a clearer idea of what exactly happened that led my stalker to deliver flowers to me. The staff I met were friendly and helped resolve the situation. I don't believe the woman who chastised me on the phone was present; I'm still upset about that, but appreciative of the quick response and transparency of information I encountered once in the store. ------I don't care about what the flowers look like, but attached is a picture of the closest bouquet the online company advertised compared to what I received.I am a taken aback at the way I was treated this morning when I called. Someone who used to stalk me had sent me flowers to my current address with the Forget Me Not contact info on the attached card (which came with a cryptic note from my stalker). When I called here to inform them of my situation and ask for help, the woman BERATED ME and victim blamed me for the incident. She told me that it was my fault he found me, because I should have removed all my contact information off the *entirety of the internet*; I told her that's not really possible, and she said it is. I'll never forget the tone she used to convey that me being stalked was my fault ("uhh if you knew someone was doing that, why didn't you XXX "). Instead of just saying, "here's the website the order was placed on", she just said "it was from a dot com website, I can't help you". I had to squeeze information out of her, like which website it was specifically. I was not screaming or blaming them, I just wanted information--which is why I'm doubly shocked at her behavior. I took my heirloom bowl in to Amy at Forget Me Not Florist and this busy florist Custom Designed this stunning Arrangement for me while I waited!  Wish I had taken a better photo..by Thanksgiving Dinner the lillies had begun to open, just as Amy promised, and the centerpiece was even prettier than the photo!!  I highly recommend this place. Don't Yelp any further and head over to Forget Me Not Flowers, especially if Tara is working!! I had to find a last minute gift to celebrate someone's performance in a local theater production. I am admittedly a little clueless about flowers, but Tara guided me through the process of finding the perfect bouquet, was very friendly and the pricing was extremely reasonable. I'm the type to just buy a bouquet from the grocery store, but for this Mother's Day I wanted something more special and put together. I called in the day before Mother's Day fairly early to have a bouquet ready in an hour. I got real lucky because I'm pretty sure I was the last person they had the time to do this for last minute. Great Service!!!!! I ordered flowers from 1800flower, and they sent the order to Forget Me Not flowers in Walnut Creek. The office where I wanted the flowers delivered to was closed. They quickly found an alternate address and took care of everything. I have not seen the bouquet but I'm sure it was lovely as I paid extra for nice flowers. They showed great customer service. I ordered the flowers for my wedding from Forget Me Not and they turned out beautifully! The owner, Amy, was so organized, helpful, and great to work with. Some of the flowers that I wanted were out of season, but Amy was able to help me pick out some seasonal alternatives that were very similar. On the day of the wedding she was the first vendor on site and set everything up perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. ****THANK YOU SO MUCH*****This place totally saved what was an order gone wrong with 1800Flowers.I called this florist 30 mins before closing and with no hesitating they were able to deliver 1 dozen long stem roses to our restaurant were we had dinner reservation. My fiance sent me a no calorie flower cupcake recently. So cute!!! I definitely love it. The flowers look fresh eventhough I wasn't even in the office on the day it was delivered. The next morning, I came in and the receptionist told me that the flower cupcake was for me. It came in a little clear plastic box and the flowers are inside. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with ordering flowers from a local florist I found online. I read the reviews and still felt capelled to take a chance ordering from a local business vs the 1 800 types. I called and placed my order rather late in the day and I was aware that my order was going to go out the next morning. I was rather anxious because of the fact that I waited so long to make the deadline for same day delivery service and the fact that my friend was going to be discharged from the hospital the next day.I called around 3 in the afternoon to place my order and by 6:30 that evening my friend sent me a picture from her hospital room with the most beautiful pink (as I requested) flower arrangement!Thank you Amy and your staff for the amazing service you provided!I will call you again in the future.Kathy C. I worked with Amy from this flower shop to do all the flowers for the wedding of my best friend.  All of the flowers were beautiful.  Amy was able to get all the colors we requested without any issues.  They were able to deliver them to the ceremony site in Berkeley on time then after the ceremony while the Bride and Groom were doing photos were able to move the arrangements to the reception site in Pleasant Hill like we requested.Amy and her team also prepared the Brides bouquet, the brides maids bouquets and all the boutonnieres for the grooms men.  She also made adorable corsages for both of the mothers.  Everything turned out flawless.  I will without a doubt use their services again.
