My Daughter took Simply Music lessons from Bernie and I was so impressed and bubbling with joy when in a hotel lobby or a mall, shortly after she started, she slid in on the pianist and started playing a duet with him! I have been taking lessons for about 5 months now and it has been a great experience. I'm an adult student and am a beginner. I take lessons with Leanne and she has been wonderful, she's patient, professional and knowledgeable. I always wanted to learn piano, but did not know where to start. Â I found Mrs. Ashby on the internet and have been having a great time learning from her and the other students in my group class. Â She has a great way of teaching that does not overwhelm the student and makes learning piano fun. Â I look forward to the classes and then practicing the new material after each class. My son took piano from Bernie for several years beginning at age 9. Â I was amazed at how quickly he took to the program. Â A non-traditional program, my son learned to play songs by rote and by tactile reinforcement. Â He learned chords, accompaniment and was encouraged to create compositions and do improvisation.
