The BEST caterer in Vail! I've used them several times. The food is amazing, interesting menus to choose from, expert service and Tracey Van Curran is a pleasure to work with. Whether you choose to use their wonderful servers or opt for food drop-off, you'll be very pleased! More...

This food is homemade healthy happiness on a plate. The sandwich of the day melts in your mouth and the array of fresh salads fill you up with high energy healthiness. Highly recommended Wish I had a picture but it's all gone. More...

Great little deli with large choice of salads and sandwiches. Their soup was also excellent. We both had half and half, sandwich, soup for my wife and I had a small salad. We will definitely be a regular customer. More...

Initially thought this place was a Kitchen gadget store instead it was a place that caters and has ready made food and frozen food for sale and you can taste befor you buy. Everything we tasted was delicious! I wish we had checked it out sooner. They had fresh soup options and food to eat or take it to go and reheat - exceptional food; califlower cakes, salmon, lots of salad options, roast beaf, etc. choose your entire delicious meal and they had the best service. A young man from europe waited on us, very friendly, professional and helpful. If you're in Avon, this place is worth a visit; best food we had in the city. More...

Great place to pick up meals to make at home. Great frozen breakfast burritos, and the casseroles are delicious. Would recommend to anyone coming to the valley and looking to make easy meals at home.

If you're visiting, you need to go! The soups are handmade each day; my favorite soup was the Thanksgiving Soup. My family and I were visiting for 4 days and once we tried the soup on our second day in town, we ate all of our meals from here! Great staff and great food! They even offer platters to take back to your home and make. The King Ranch Chicken was amazing! More...

Tracey and Foods of Vail catered our wedding at EagleVail Pavilion last week. They did a fantastic job. Tracey was super accommodating; she put up all of our decorations and did a flawless job with timing, presentation and service. The food was also phenomenal; our guests couldn't stop raving about all of the dishes. I couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend them for any catering needs in the Vail Valley. Honestly some of the best food in Vail Valley. I eat there daily for lunch. Incredibly reasonable costs for what you get. Everything I've ever had there is excellent. Couldn't recommend more.

So grateful to find this great restaurant/market!  We are commuting each day 3-6 hours and every night they are providing our dinners for my family of five.  They have a freezer of very high quality prepared dinners, soups & appetizers and have a case of fresh meats & seafoods and a wide variety of side dishes.  If you love Whole Foods you will Love this market! I ordered a tuna sandwich and kale salad for lunch. The bread was 21 grain and the tuna had all sorts of goodies in it, even capers. The kale salad had chopped apples, apricots, and cranberries. These tasted so good, I will definitely be back for another lunch. More...

Foods of Vail was an amazing addition to our wedding. We were looking for a less expensive alternative for a reception than spending $10,000+ on a reception of 40 people at the venue on Vail Mountain and got referred to Foods of Vail. First of all, Tracey is amazing at what she does. I didn't really have a clue what kind of food I wanted, (I was a super low-maintenance bride), and she was able to put together a lovely menu. We ended up using her for the rehearsal dinner as well. We had a street taco bar with chicken, beef, and fish tacos. I didn't know it was possible for tacos to be gourmet- but my lord it was amazing. It was the perfect mix of low key but also extremely gourmet. The second night was more pastas, sea food & things like crab cakes. Again- phenomenal. Her bartenders were awesome and filled wine glasses on the tables without us having to go get more. All the servers were fantastic, quite honestlyWe set up a tent in the back yard area of our lodge and used that space- Tracey set up the rental and the table/chair rental. She also provided beautiful over lays for the tables, and the whole event was just lovely. Highly recommend her and her team. She is busy, getting ahold of her can be hard. But, I promise by the end it falls into place, so do not stress! More...

I do not normally write review, but feel compelled to do so after our experience today with Foods of Vail.We planned a private party to be held at a friend's house (we're from out of town) and the hostess recommended that we try this establishment.  What a good suggestion! The folks who greeted us when we arrived to pick up the food were super-helpful and very upbeat.  The food itself was outstanding--best catered food we'd ever eaten.  Especially recommend the mac and cheese.  It was a hit with adults as well has the kids.  Will certainly use them again if setting up another party in the area. "GOURMET FOODS" is what the sign out front says. A few years ago this was the best meat place in Avon... which is an appealing pursuit after a trip to Beaver Liquors. I can be demanding like that.  If you are looking for sweet meat, "Cut" moved to Edwards a few years ago... they had some fine meat.If one were to take the time to read the enormous glass storefront, they would easily see the following 4 words:"Catering, Delicatessen, Take Out, Specialty Foods" Foods offered include deli meats, olives and cheeses and prepared foods like lasagna and other large dish type meals.  Tasty.  Not inexpensive. Pairing Gourmet Deli Meats and Beaver Liquors wines is the way to go if you are wanting to escape the utter predictability of the offerings at the painfully awkward bare fluorescent cheapness of City Market zombieland.  ~This entire review was written while attempting to avoid saying, "Where's the Beef?" anywhere where anyone would remember me saying it.  So, forget I said it, and if you are looking for "Cut", drive 15 minutes to Edwards.
