Spent the day at the Lapis Spa on April 25 celebrating our friend’s 66th birthday. Irene welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. From the very beginning to the end Irene was with us and provided us with towels, drinks, makeup removers...whatever we asked for she was there to provide and help. Massages were wonderful! LOVED the spa. Irene made sure to give me a well informed tour of the spa upon my arrival and made sure I was comfortable before my service. What an amazing experience. Men and women have separate hot pools, stream rooms, and rain tunnels. There is also a warm pool and rain room that is coed. I soaked in this place for hours. Included light snacks (peanuts, pretzels, fruit) and hydrating beverages (flavored water and tea). Hot towels and razors for shaving. Drenching showers with everything you need to bathe. The. Best. Facial. I have ever had. I am not sure if this should be attributed to the aesthetician, products used, or technique - but it was all wonderful. I highly recommend anyone visiting Miami or a local to make a trip to Lapis. I had a wonderful first experience at the Lapis spa this past weekend. We did the "Fontainebleau for 2" package and it was amazing! We had an 11:30 hot stone appointment but checked in at 9:30am to enjoy the facilities before. I recommend coming in earlier before your appointment while it's still quiet and not filled with a bunch of people. A big thank you to Olga, the locker room attendant! She was so sweet and very helpful with any questions I had. Our therapist were also great! ---We enjoyed a two course Spa lunch after at La Cote and then hung out by the pool for the rest of the day. We came back to the spa around 6:00PM and we were able to use the facilities and showers before we left for the night. I recommend this spa to everyone! Yesterday (7/29) was my first warm stone massage (I have has many standard massages) and I have to say that Sherie set the bar way high for all future massages! She answered every question I had about warm stone and the differences between this and a standard massage, she checked in often to make sure I was having a great experience, she asked questions about my activity level and aches and pains to customize her approach and delivered the best massage I have ever had.
