I’m in Canada and my husband is in NJ. It was our 3rd wedding anniversary and I wanted to do some new and different so I decided to send him some flowers. I called several places to get prices but the moment I called Flowers by Candle Lite I was impressed. Cathy was so patient, kind, informative, and accommodating. I could not ask for more. We worked with Todd for our wedding this past September and he was an absolute dream to work with. He met with us initially and discussed everything in perfect detail and spent time with us truly gauging what we wanted and what our perfect flowers would look like. He was so personable, warm and welcoming and catered to our every need (and our budget!).Communication was amazing and most importantly the flowers on our big day were absolutely astounding. We are still talking about them almost a month later and everyone from our wedding couldn’t stop complimenting them. We look at our pictures and see the flowers and they truly complete the most perfect day of our lives.We are so grateful for not only the amazing job Todd and his team did but for the personal touch he provided with the service. I shop here year round, for many occasions. This place is a hidden gem, offering the BEST quality flowers, and other small gifts from other local artists and designers. You can buy flowers, plants, cards, jewelry, seasonal gifts, stickers for kids, etc. here. The store transforms throughout the year, and always looks fresh. They frequently flower-bomb unsuspecting people throughout the local neighborhood, bringing smiles to everyone in town. Great Florist! I'm not from the area, but my fiancee's bridal shower was at a nearby restaurant, and I knew it would be easier to find flowers locally than to try to travel from the city. I'm so glad I picked Flowers by CandleLite. They were really helpful over the phone and did their best to accommodate some special requests. I needed to have a sympathy bouquet delivered the following day.  Knowing I was cutting it close, I tried Flowers By Candle-Lite and was pleasantly greeted by Todd who worked with me to create the perfect Giants themed arrangement.  I originally was going to go for the generic sympathy bouquet, but saw they do some awesome custom arrangements.  While they were awesome, they were pricy and too large for what I was looking for, they were more so for the funeral home/service.  When I mentioned this to Todd, he was patient and worked with me to put together exactly what I had in mind going with the Giants theme as a bouquet. The flowers were delivered at the perfect time and the family loved the beautiful arrangement that Flowers By Candle-Lite put together in honor of their family member who was a huge Giants fan. My husband and I worked with Todd for our wedding flowers. Growing up in Denville, I knew of Flowers By Candle-Lite for my entire life. Being part of the Denville Residents FB page showed me how involved with the community this business is. I am a huge supporter of small business and definitely wanted to stay local with our wedding vendors. From the first meeting with Todd, it was clear that the flowers wouldn't' be a stress during our planning (which we did in two and a half months btw). After some discussion, I knew that Todd had a great understanding of what I/we were looking for and he pulled out some amazing flowers to show us! He was full of great ideas and combinations that I would have never thought of. Throughout the process, Todd stayed in touch with me and threw some more ideas around to make everything perfect. I gave him free reign to do whatever he wanted with the arrangements while still using the handful of flowers/greenery that we had originally discussed. And... I was NOT worried in the least! When I saw the arrangements at the venue on our wedding day, I was speechless. They were perfect! The grape vine wrapped around the birch arch where the ceremony took place was breathtaking and centerpieces were beautiful! My bouquet and the boutonnieres were amazing and I absolutely would not change one thing about our flowers! I live in California but needed to send a birthday arrangement to a good friend in Whippany and did not want to do the 1-800 Flowers thing because I haven't had the best experience with that service. I have known Michael Scannelli (who will no doubt be a future Mayoral Candidate for the City of Denville) for many years and called to asked for his recommendation for a good florist. He said "Hands down the best florist in Denville is Flowers by Candle Lite!" He said to ask for George but when I called George was not available so I ended up talking to Todd, George's son. Todd was excellent! Friendly, easy to talk to, made great suggestions and was very enthusiastic. Excellent Customer Service! I had my order filled within 10 minutes and later that day my friend called to say how happy she was and that it was the most stunning flower arrangement she had ever seen. Job well done Todd and Flowers By Candle Lite! I recommend everyone in need of flowers call this excellent company. Awesome florist! Their arrangements are beautiful and they really care about customer satisfaction. Due to some complications (that were not at all the fault of the florist), my Valentine's arrangement that my bf ordered arrived a day late. Even though it wasn't their fault, Todd apologized for it and promptly explained what happened (the middle man was to blame) and even gave me another lovely small bouquet!
