You would think a tiny backyard wedding would be a piece of cake but there are so many things to consider and organize. I’ve known Amy for 3 years and her company, Flourish Events, has served as our 4th of July B-B-Q Celebration event planner for the past 2 years. Her skills as our event coordinator, planner and scheduler have very much earned my loyalty and commitment. I trust Amy’s character with my most valuable clients, friends and neighbors as she gives to these people liberally her charm and grace while hosting our event. Tried and True Events was the absolute BEST decision I could have made for my wedding planning. Amy was warm, professional, incredibly detailed and a true delight to work with. She put so much thought into each of our meetings and actually instilled joy and confidence in me during the planning process. I was feeling a little overwhelmed before my first meeting with her (all my family and bridesmaids lived out of state or out of country) and she put me completely at ease. She managed to understand my not-fully-formed wedding vision and give it clarity and life, and I went home super excited knowing that my wedding was on track. She was very conscious of our budget and was also excited to go decoration shopping for us! Over the next few weeks she would text me pictures and pick up any items she’d found that fit what we were going for. She even offered to make a DIY background that I had my eye on! She made my life SO EASY. Lastly, on the day of the wedding, we had buckets of rain and thunderstorms I had hoped my reception could be outside, but it was not to be! Amy managed to bring everything inside, set it all up and make it BEAUTIFUL and COZY before we even got there. It felt like a glorious, low-key family reunion (that just happened to be elegant and unique) and more than we could have hoped for. Amy went above and beyond for my husband and I.
