We rescued a shitzu and after we had him about a week we had a repair man to our home. Our sweet little rescue showed his true colors. He was an aggressive fear biter. Luckily he did not bite this man but I knew something had to be done. I went to the web to find a trainer/behaviorist. I came up with several names and called several. Joe called me back in just a few minutes and spent several minutes speaking to me about his program. He came out for a consult and as soon as he entered our home my baby became the Tasmanian Devil. Within minutes Joe had him on a leash and walking him. In all of 5 minutes my nasty little boy had calmed down and was sitting on the couch with Joe. Joe is kind, caring and is extremely patient not only with the dogs but also us the owners. I had to be trained to be able to help my dog do what was needed. It has been about 2 months since we finished the program and last night my friend came to visit when she arrived at the house I did all the things that Joe had taught me to do and we had a very calm introduction with my dog and my friend. Lots of stress has eased from my shoulders and I am extremely grateful that Joe came to us. Also, with his training program we are on a yearly refresher and I can text Joe and ask any questions that I need to ask. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and patient. When you look up dog whisperer in the dictionary, you will see Joe’s name. Within hours my puppy learned 2 new commands. As the puppy program progressed, I saw my “little monster” become an obedient puppy (and that was BEFORE obedience training). I can’t thank Joe enough for the work that he has done. Joe is absolutely the best. My dog we got at the humane society has a problem with fear and territorial aggression. Due to ununsual circumstances, Joe worked with this dog for a very short 2 weeks. Fast results in very little time amazing joe makes you believe its easy I thought I will never be able to successfully train my 1 year old Rottweiler met joe and seen results on first day of training I recommend him as I have been through multiple training courses and have never seen results like I have with joe .

I have went to a lot of training programs around here and have not had any success. After a horrible session with another trainer who stressed my dog out so bad I had to go to the emergency vet for hives, I stumbled across Joe who didn’t train like the others. He accomplished more in one session with my dogs than all the others combined. I highly recommend Florida Academy. My dogs are actually listening to commands without having to bribe them with treats. I couldn’t even walk my dog on a leash because she would flop around and throw herself on the ground - in the first 15 min Joe had her walking on a leash! I am sooo impressed! More...
