I had major water damage in my home due to a leak. Much of the drywall had to be removed and discarded because it was ruined. Same with the kitchen cabinet under the kitchen sink. I called Concepcion Flores who came to my place within thirty minutes. He gave me an estimate to repair the drywall and kitchen cabinet. I accepted the estimate and he started work the next morning. He did a fantastic job repairing the drywall, painting it and repairing the damage to my kitchen cabinet. When he was done you couldn't tell that there had ever been any damage. It looked great. Concepcion was very professional and friendly. As he was working on the project (which took just two days) he stayed in touch and contacted me several times to ask me questions to make sure he was doing exactly what I wanted. Concepcion is the own and is very responsive, reliable and his team works very fast. I had my old shed and old concrete removed by them, took them 7 hours to do. I can't say enough good things about Flores and his Handyman work. Â My HOA needed someone to install a multiunit mail box. Â This required excavation for a 4'x4' concrete pad, building the concrete pad form and adding rebar, pouring the concrete, and installing the (150-lb) mailbox. Â I will add we had Flores install wet anchor bolts (in the wet concrete) to mount the pedestal.Flores's communication and work were excellent. Â We discussed the job, sent texts & pictures of the work to be performed and he quoted a good price.After he completed all the work, my HOA is very pleased with the new mailbox. I hired Concepcion and his team to install an outdoor shower. Â He quoted me a very fair price, listened to me to hear my suggestions and also incorporated his own ideas which were great, and put everything together in a little over half a day. Â I am very pleased with how everything turned out, and have already been talking to him about getting more projects done for us. Â He is a very honest and kind person who is also very talented and does great work without cutting corners. Â In my experience, it is hard to find people like him these days. Needed to have five areas of drywall patched due to repiping project. He gave me a quick estimate and stated the repairs the day after I accepted his quote. The drywall patching was done to a level 5 which is a smooth finish. The work included drywall patching, mudding, taping and painting. One patching was in a wallpapered bathroom. The job was to remove  wallpaper and painting. His crew removed and replaced drywall due to difficulty in removing wallpaper without damaging drywall. Finished project was outstanding. He and crew know what they are doing and give you a completed project that you will approve of. The completed project was within the estimate. He and his crew did a great job. Concepcion installed a shower door, a project which many handypeople will  not touch. He and Angel arrive timely, had all the necessary tools (of which there were many) and did a careful installation. He was very knowledgeable. Flores was absolutely amazing - I called and they had an opening just 2 days later to install my vanity sink. I had called several plumbers in the area who refused to install vanities and Flores came in and did the vanity install and plumbing at a great price. They installed the vanity perfectly (including a very heavy top and sink), helped me move my plumbing a few inches along the wall, and then also helped me put up a mirror (had to add extra support to the wall to hold it) and swap out my toilet too. I chose Flores over other options because they can do multiple things and they were fast. They patched drywall in my house and did a great job. Wall texturing is beautifully done. And they figured out a solution to patching some wood paneling. They also did a small carpentry and painting job outside. I was looking for someone to help me with some projects on the house and I gave Flores Handyman a call. Â I talked to the owner, Concepcion. Â He made an appointment to meet with me between 2 and 3 pm the following day. Â Concepcion showed up at 3:30 pm. Â I called him at 3:15 pm and he told me he was on his way and also our appointment was between 3-4 pm. Â When he arrived I showed him the text he sent me saying 2 -3 pm. Â LATE. Â He couldn't quote me for the major repair but he gave me a quote later for a smaller repair. Â I texted him that I would give him an answer the following day. Â I told him that I wanted it done by the end of the week. Â He texted me back and said "Sure." Â And as promised I texted him that I wanted him go with him. Â He told me that he would text me this afternoon with a time. Â So at 7 pm when I didn't hear from him, I texted him. Â He told me he could come over Saturday and to have paint for him. Â DIDN'T KEEP HIS PROMISE.Also he took a sample from my house to get the paint when he came over to visit my house. Â Why would he ask me to get the paint when he told me he needed a sample from my house and that he would get the paint? Â DIDN'T KEEP HIS PROMISE.I am surprised Flores Handyman has gotten such good reviews. Â I am giving him 1 star but he deserved a zero. Â If you got great service from him, congratulations! Â I am glad you got good service. Â He might do great work. Â But if you are looking for a contractor to hire, my recommendation is to not waste your time like me and find someone else to do business with.
