My husband and I were recently married in North Carolina. My mother had wanted to do the floral arrangements for the wedding reception (as she had previously done for both of my brothers’ weddings) and I had been having difficulty finding a florist who didn’t mind just handling the bridal party bouquets and boutonnières. Then came Flora to the rescue! Not only was Tyler incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, I was absolutely blown away by the arrangements that arrived the day of our wedding. Without too much discussion, she somehow just instinctively got the look my husband and I were going for. Absolutely loved this shop! Plants and tea and gifts and books galore! Workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Flora is perfect for getting terrarium supplies including plants containers media and more. Forage had a good selection of tea and coffee with vegan milk options. There's a window bar/seating area where you can have tea and read a book. I wish I lived in Asheville so I could go there all the time. Jessica, our florist from Flora, did an amazing job in selecting the flowers, greenery, and table decorations for our ceremony and reception, as well as putting together gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres! We were very happy with how everything turned out. We opted to have Flora set up of the flowers at the venue and we are glad we did it, as the setup was spectacular.

Flora was easy to work with. After sending our flower preferences and vision, Flora provided a quote which included pictures of what they were envisioning for the event.

Ahead of the wedding, Jessica was responsive, flexible, and willing to stay within our budget as modifications occurred during the planning portion of the wedding.

Overall, we are extremely happy with using Flora as our florist for our wedding in Asheville and would recommend them to anyone else planning a wedding in the Asheville area. More...

Flora. I have passed by Flora many times, and had never been in. A few days ago I went there to enjoy coffee with a few friends, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is very laid back, and calm. Although I was not looking for plants, it was nice to be around so much greenery. The decor is beautiful. The staff is friendly. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a cute gift for any occasion. Due to time constraints, I didn't get to browse the book section, but I can't wait to go back so I can do so. So LOVE this magnificent shop! A must visit for everyone in Asheville! Flora oozes energy....maybe because of all the extra oxygen, in the air! Beautiful plants and flowers envelope you, as stress just eases out of your system. Do you want to work away from home at a super chill coffee spot filled with plants? Also, if we told you there was delicious coffee and awesome bagels here, would you even believe it's real? It's true. This place is part magic but 100% real. The wifi is good and there is a newly opened book store adjacent to Flora. It's one of our favorite spots to get some work done in West Asheville. The baristas are super friendly. It's a great place to catch up with a friend or do some work by yourself at your computer. Get there early to get good street parking or just walk. Either way, if you're lucky enough to make it there, you're in for a treat. More...

Such a cute place!! You can buy plants and coffee in the same spot, what's not to love? The decor is beautiful and the food was great. I ordered the lavender honey latte and it was one of the best I've had in Asheville. I had an out of town order and they were patient and did a beautiful job. I worked with Tyler from Flora and she was so helpful and really listened to my likes and dislikes during our first consultation call. I docked them 1 star because it did take awhile to get the initial proposal and follow up proposal (from my edits) back from them via email correspondence. I do recognize it's because they're very busy and in-demand with all the Asheville weddings.
While I was an out of town bride (my parents live in Asheville), I made a trip to Asheville a month before my wedding and I highly recommend setting up an in-store appointment because it was the most efficient way to finalize my floral design with Tyler and I felt like we were on the same page for everything after that. They also have the cutest store! Also, I really appreciate how willing Tyler was in working with my budget - she did not keep pushing for me to add extra items which would have pushed me over budget.
My flower arrangements they provided were beautiful and followed my wishes! I was so pleased at how the floral and candle layouts at the reception venue turned out. Exactly the romantic, rustic vibe I was going for.
They also showed up on time - no issues at all with delivery or setup. I definitely recommend them as fantastic florists!! More...

What a great little spot! I love the concept for Flora. They are a legit florist as well as a coffee shop/cafe. We stopped in after eating brunch in this area. The interior is so pretty and they have lots of great plants for sale. We ended up grabbing two as well as a nice pot. The staff there are also super friendly and will tell you how to care for your plants if you don't already know. I was glad to see the place so busy- lots of people trolling for plants.We ended up here a second time as well, for coffee. I ordered a soy latte and it was great. We didn't hang out in their lovely space because we were on our way somewhere else but this is definitely the type of spot where you could chill and read a book. Flora is a florist, cafe and boutique right off Haywood Road in West Asheville. I had seen them at the Pop Up Cat Cafe for the Asheville Humane Society, where they provided super nomz coffee and scrumptious cookies for the guests - so wanted to check out their actual storefront. There is one hour free street parking - and there seems to usually be a few spots available in that section of town. The cafe area is larger than what I had expected after I had scoped out their IG- which was a pleasant surprise. They have a large selection of coffee drinks and teas; as well as lots of goodies to munch on; including bagels, scones, truffles, and other baked goods. They had a bar style seating area by the window and small tables outside; which seems great for people/puppers watching, but I really wanted to sit at the super cute little tables indoors so I could scope out the lovely goods for sale. I got a homemade Fig Cookie for a little afternoon snack and a Rose Honey Lavender Iced Tea, which was very reasonably priced (a little over $5 for everything- not including a tip). My tea was sweet - but in a herbal way - not a gross faux sugary way. It had a distinct lavender and rose taste; which was to die for - such a delight. The Fig Cookie was ah mazingly delicious. Again, sweet - but not in a nasty faux sugar way - it tasted like fresh figs and had a crunchy crust. Nothing like the Fig Newtons I grew up with (as much as I loved those too). It was topped with the perfect amount of sea salt, and came on a sweet/fancy little antique looking plate. They've got nearly a zillion plants for sale - including small potted plants where you can pick your own pot/plant combo, as well as a ton of single flowers by the stem so you can make a bouquet for yourself, mom, cat - whoever really. They also have a wide variety of kitchen goods for sale like adorbs hedgehog and whale salt and pepper shakers, fun zodiac sign candles and terrariums galore. The inside scoop is that they custom make terrariums to your specific needs. Yes; they'll even tailor you a one of a kind terrarium if you're a phantom that has set up shop in damp/dark the basement of a Victorian home where nothing *usually* survives except your ghastly, misunderstood  soul. Flora is a great place for gifts, or to treat yourself. If you're going there to pick up a present, make sure to set aside some extra time spend at their delightful cafe! More...

I can not sing the praises of the Flora tribe enough! They came as a recommendation through both our venue (Homewood) and our photographer (Bren Photography). When I reached out about wedding services, I was connected with Tyler. We met about 4.5 months before our date and I brought in my beginning ideas for color and style. She was very knowledgable, creative and really catching my "MidSummer Nights Dream" vibe! And oh, what a dream it all was! Working with Flora for my wedding was an absolute dream! Having seen their work from other weddings, it didn't seem real that I could actually have that at my own wedding.
