Floors by the Shore

Had a great feeling about this company within minutes of the owner, Adam, coming to give us an estimate.  He is a great guy, both personally and professionally, and talked over everything in detail with us (as well as other aspects of our home).  After considering three other contractors, our gut kept telling us to choose Floors by the Shore.  Beyond glad that we did.  The crew ripped up and disposed of the existing carpeting in the entire upstairs of our new home and installed new hardwood floors throughout.  They also revamped our entire staircase (replaced all of the pine treads with oak, the railings, bannisters, and newel posts) -- and did a fantastic job sanding and staining to match the floors we selected.  The entire crew was courteous, clean, and conscientious, and quickly brought to our attention any potential issues or new decision points.  At some point in the near future, we hope to have the budget to also put matching hardwood throughout the downstairs and Floors by the Shore would certainly be our first call.  Some before and after photos attached.  (And it looks more beautiful in person -- our next project is to improve our lighting!). I have known Adam and Floors By the Shore for a very long time as he has worked on two of my commercial buildings that I managed and he has also worked on two on my personal residents. So when we had a sewer back-up incident in our basement rec room in our home I called Adam to access replacing our carpet, Adam gave use wonderful information and guidance of what could be done and last week Floors by the Shore just finished a complete basement flooring project for us. They were so patient and helpful with us as we struggled over materials and color. However, in the end when the project was complete WOW! My wife was ecstatic with the way the basement looks. Floors by the Shore do excellent work! Each day of the project they left the house spotless. The crews were personable and outstanding workers. With the pandemic issues they wore their masks and were ever mindful of our concerns. I highly recommend Floors By The Shore for all your flooring needs. You will not be disappointed. More...

I highly recommend Floors by The Shore.

Floors by The Shore are professional and extremely reliable. Adam and his team were responsive to meeting a quick turn around of installing, re-finishing and replacing hardwood floors in a home we just purchased. I appreciated their honesty and bottom line results--execution of BEAUTIFUL, quality flooring and service. I look forward to working with them in the future on Phase 2 flooring--fitness room and finished basement. BTW--the entire team were a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I had our floors redone. We had a high gloss floor that has shined for over 21 years and 4 dogs. They came to redo the floor and there is no shine. They are horrible. We wish we would have never had them touch our floors. I will never recommend them to anyone. Called them back to see what could be done. They stopped over and was like well it happens.
