All of the reviews that say good things are all true. Judy, Stephen, misty, and anyone we talked to or met at the Desert Riviera were more than amazing. The location was perfect, close to down town and the airport but far enough away that it was quieter and less traffic. If you need to get around they have a complimentary limo, you just should tip the driver. The rooms were spotless and awesome, my boyfriend and I stayed in room #4, right in front of the pool. When we arrived (very late, I might add) we were surprised with a basket full of different snacks for our stay. They also had free DVD's and books for their guests. Even had two grills with fresh herbs from their garden. The pool is where most of our time was spent (which is open 24/7). They also have complimentary bikes (single and tandem) to take out, which we used to go to Ralph's (a near by grocery store). Although our flights were complete shit, the stay at the Desert Riviera made up for it! The staff is so helpful and friendly, and words can't describe how great they made our stay in Palm Springs. We had a lovely time. It was so quiet! Pool and hot tub nice and warm and open all night! Rooms super clean. Staff so friendly you feel like you're at home! You can wash and dry your clothing free of charge so no laundromat hunting! There is alcohol for free and a communal kitchen! Make breakfast free of charge. Unlimited bottles of water and cokes. Towels and sunscreen by the pool. Even fresh popped pop corn provided for snacking by the pool. Also a bbq area. Just awesome. Thanks to all the staff! This has been our second visit and we just love it here. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the best. We stayed in room 4 and the room was spotless. On our previous visit we stayed in room 2 and was also spotless. It's a suite with a kitchenette and very spacious. Pool was perfect and they always play the right music by the pool and grill area. Great job on all the upgrades and we will definitely be coming back and don't mind the 4 hour drive from Santa Barbara. Thank you again staff members, awesome job. More...

What a beautiful hidden gem! You enter through a small gate, and it feels like you are entering paradise! We were greeted by Amanda as though we were family. After being given a glass of wine we were given tour of kitchen and laundry facilities, immaculate pool area, fire pit and outdoor kitchen area, and our room, which was very clean. We stayed here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We returned from dinner to find a chilled bottle of champagne, flowers, and lit candles in our room! The continental breakfast is great. My favourite part of my holiday in CA was my stop here . From the fantastic customer service & warm greeting with a glass of chardonnay from Amanda it was the start of a very special stay . Loved everything about this place , exceptional facilities , lovley pool (really enjoyed just chilling on the lilos with the floating parasols) Thanks to Tracy for dropping us off at the resturant and taking us to get pizzas for a night around the pool . The humming birds were magical & the group of people staying really made it for us . Our room was also so comfortable & spotless :) So nice to get to know all the friendly peeps . We had only planned on staying 1 night but stayed for 2 as didn't want to leave . This must be how I imagine the garden of Eden to be ����

It would be impossible for me to convey how much I truly love this place. I’ve done my fair share of traveling and can say that Desert Riviera is a true gem. I loved it so much the first time we went that before we checked out we reserved the entire place for our wedding just a few months later. The wedding was fantastic and all of our friends and family raved about the experience. We will be coming back here over and over again. More...

What a gem of a hotel. Came to get away for just a couple days and we truly got away. This place is a little oasis in the middle of the dessert. Desert Riveria is such an amazingly legit place to stay. Traci, and Misty were both great, as well as the couple who were/are helping them with things this summer. I loved that they had the spring float recliner as I just floated around the pool the entire time. Another great asset is that the pool is 24 hours, and all guest are 18+. So no kids, yay and I was legit at the pool/in the pool until like midnight. The room was cute and clean, the ac kept it nice a refreshing. The place is just legit, welcoming, great service, clean and awesome will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later. More...
