I have a contemporary home and the kitchen and family room just did not go with the ocean views. I stumbled onto Flashman Design and Andrew in search of a Galley sink as he reps the line. I walked into his small showroom in Laguna Beach and instantly connected with his product line. We hired him right away and he has been amazing! What talent and follow through. we presented andrew flashman with the dilemma of combining two different aesthetics, namely those of my wife and me. the changes involved 2 full bathrooms, 3 levels of flooring, fans, curtains, and interior wall paints.
the designs of various fixtures, the colors of wood, porcelain, and wall coverings, the quality of various materials, - all coalesced into a beautiful and elegant whole - not just in our eyes, but in the opinion of various people who have visited us, young and old, architects and artists, neighbors and friends. in my estimation, andrew's choice of material, texture and color reflected on his careful consideration of natural light in this home, its elevation and location. he was also mindful of the costs of various products and got the project done within our budgetary constraints.
the entire project took 4 months despite some delays in delivery of material by a foreign manufacturer. the contractors employed by andrew were accomplished, professional, and never tardy. i would use them for any future project in a heartbeat.
mr. flashman was referred to us by our neighbors for whom he has designed 2 separate homes. we found him very personable, easy to communicate our ideas and concerns. yes, we got lucky. we recommend him enthusiastically and wholeheartedly.
