What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. Bookkeeping, payroll, general accounting work. Personal financial planning.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
When people thing of accountants they think of compliance. You file tax returns because you have to. You obtain certified financial statements because the bank requires it.
Working with a great accountant goes beyond compliance. It can give you better insight into your business which can drive profitability. It can take a lot of the burden off of a businesses owner's shoulders so that they can spend their time where they are the most valuable- running the business!
What do you love most about your job?
Helping make life easier for people. Simplifying the complex. Making great decisions. It's not lost on me how stressful accounting and tax work can be for the average person. I like removing that stress.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A strong desire to help people. If I'm being completely honest, the autonomy and the ability to work with people I like.

I offer a high level of communication and service. I want you to understand the "why" and if you don't care about the "why" I at least want you to be confident that it's being done correctly.

Yes. I have an online portal for secure uploads and accountant-level accounts with major software providers like QuickBooks and Gusto. I am comfortable with Zoom, phone calls, or email.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I've always worked from a home office, but most of my clients are conducting business virtually now. I still pick-up and drop-off locally, but it's all socially distanced and safe.
