Food is AMAZING. Service was great as well. The guys coming around with the meat eventually found out we really liked the pineapple, cheese and bread and kept circling back with more. This place is fun and amazing! Something new worth trying. Get ready to sample many various meats and flavors. It starts with a buffet. Salads, breads, fruits, cheese etc. then you are offered different meats sliced right in front of you Brazilian style. Eat as much as you want. Service was fantastic. Amazing attentive service 5 out of 5 for service.Great atmosphere for a large group of people. There are a decent amount of choices at the self serve station but it is all about the meat at this place. Love the table side service and the many choices they have. Be ready to have an appetite and get your moneys worth. A little on the $$$ side but worth it for a special occasion or group dinner. MUST try the pineapple. Let me start by saying I used to drive two hours for Fogo, but when they started not being worth the drive I was in search of a good local (from Sac) steakhouse. I came to flame and fire once and have been back once a month since then. The food is always good AND flavored, might I add. It helps to go to a place where the service is good. My favorite pieces: bacon wrapped chicken and filet, bottom sirloin, ribs (My favorite) and the pineapple. It is pricey, but when you want to get what you pay for, esp. in a steakhouse you like pricey. Haven't been back to Fogo yet, and don't plan on going back as long as Flame and Fire is around. More...

We went here to celebrate many birthdays. The cost is $50 dollars per head and if you include tax $55 dollars and then an extra $7 to 10 dollar tip. They also have a "food bar" option for around $32 dollars I believe since we did have some vegetarians in the group. I would say the bar itself for $32 dollars is not worth it. You are better off going to Thunder Valley and eating the buffet for a cheaper price as the selection is very small and limited. If you go to costco, you can buy the $100 gift certificate and get it for $80 dollars so that will cover the tip.Okay so now my full on review. So there are many folks that come with the huge skewer and a knife and you use tongs to take off the meat.So here are the ones you really need to get. They tend to cook the meat on the medium-rare to medium side. I am sure you can get a well done one.1. Lamb chops2. Top Sirlon3. Filet Migon with bacon4. Pineapple (if you love sweet, this is like so good I had 10 pieces of this)5. Tri tip with Melted Cheese6. Chicken Drumsticks7. Rib eyeHere is where I can take it or leave it.1. Any white meat chicken (parmeasen), meat can be dry2. The cheese (very rich)3. Chicken heart4. Pork ribs (dry), Need bbq sauce it make it better.Food BarI only tried a couple of items, but here is the one I liked corn, watermelon is sweet and has a minty taste. I did not try the hot dishes however. They have a small salad bar and some salads and some meat antipestos included. ServiceWas exceptional as the servers were very patient especially when my mother in law took many pictures of the meat and always asked if we wanted more. They made sure we were taken of and deserved the 20% tip instead of the 15%. Overall a geat experience. Would come here once in awhile, as you go here for a special occassion as the price is quite high and of course I can not eat too much meat because of my gout issue. This was my second time visiting this restaurant. Didn't realize I hadn't reviewed it the first time. I believe I had the same waiter both times and he was great both times. It's not a particularly large restaurant so I would recommend making a reservation. We were greeted and seated immediately and our waiter stopped by pretty quickly to take our drink order. Grabbed our plates and turned the card over and it was time to eat. This restaurant has many meat options and most are pretty amazing. My favorite is the bacon wrapped chicken breast and the Parmesan crusted chicken breast. Don't shoot me for not choosing my favorite as a steak at a steak house. I enjoyed just about every cut of meat they brought to the table. Didn't try the grilled pineapple but was told it's good. The first time I came here I ordered the flan as a dessert item and it was delicious. This time around I didn't order anything because it was closing time and hate holding up the staff.
