How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We assess are clients' goals relative to their starting point, while also considering the amount of time & effort they're able to put towards their goals. Many clients have limited time to achieve their goals, so we focus on the highest-return activities that will help get our clients where they want to be.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
The secret depends on what "the body of your dreams" means. We focus on FEELING strong and aging well. That requires a dedicated, regular exercise routine that improves your weaknesses to limit pain/injury potential. So it's not so much a secret as it's a mindset of being willing to show up regularly.
What do you love most about your job?
We love connecting with our clients. Most of our clients have lifestyle-related fitness goals -- ones related to living a better quality of life. They want to be in less daily pain, be able to run around with their kids/grandkids, and feel strong doing daily activities. As trainers who specialize in corrective exercise, many of us want those same things. So it's great connecting with people who share similar values.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We offer a personal training service that isn't solely inspired by aesthetics. Most fitness people are geared towards getting a beach body or weight loss, and that's not our focus. So we had to create an environment that catered to the goals we can help most with.
Why should our clients choose you?
Most people looking to start a fitness program do so to lose weight or get in better shape. Those are great reasons, but most trainers will get you there by having you do what they did to get in shape. That's not how we operate. We all have 5+ years of training experience with advanced certifications and know good training from bad training. Our clients can expect to feel better every time they leave a workout and see the improvements in their daily life.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We implemented a more strict cleaning schedule as a result of COVID and have maintained that advanced standard.
Private Personal Training
1-on-1 personal training at the Fixed by Fitness south Austin studio. We offer training frequencies of once, twice, or three times per week.
