Ok ... Usually I never write any reviews unless something is very touching. So, guys do you know when you get a first experience of something special? especially when it’s your first son’s bar mitzvah? So, our DJ Mike Starr made this day very special and happy. He did everything we asked for and the kids were incredibly happy too that day. The music was great, and he was moving the kids as well. You cannot go wrong with Five Starr Music as your DJ for your wedding.
We had DJ Mike for our wedding, It was a perfect experience. Prior to the wedding day, Mike was available for any questions we had at any point. You can be in constant contact with your DJ if needed. We didn't give Mike much guidance, we just gave him a link to a playlist with a few songs from Spotify and he was able to take that and create such a perfect, fun, dance-filled night for us. He really has a talent for understanding his clients and tailoring his music perfectly to their interests. You would have thought he knew us for years.
From backup music to some of the speeches to keeping everyone on the dancefloor the entire night, I would not have changed anything from our wedding night. You can trust Five Starr Music wholeheartedly to do an amazing job at your wedding. We couldn't recommend them enough. More...

Oh my gosh Mike(Five Starr Music) absolutely ROCKED our wedding!!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun dancing and singing and we truly had the most perfect day and night.

We had many guests of different ages and cultural backgrounds come up to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on his skills as a DJ!! Mike sent us some sample playlists and truly went the extra mile to ensure that all cultural component flowed naturally throughout our wedding reception. He totally knocked it out of the park! Mike transitions were seamless, he read the crowd beautifully, he played many of our favorite songs (most of which we did not tell him in advance!) and kept our dance floor packed all night!! Mike truly helped make our dream wedding a reality - we cannot thank him enough!!!
Some of our guests asked for our DJ's information for future events - if that doesn't say it then I don't know what else will! Mike was fabulous and incredibly helpful throughout all of our wedding planning! He was extremely responsive via email and was always down to hop on a Zoom to clarify anything for us.

We're so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. We credit Mike as the number one reason why we had so much fun at our reception - it was a priceless experience!

Mike was amazing from start to finish! From the first steps of planning to the end of our event, everything was handled with extreme professionalism and enthusiasm. No detail was overlooked, and every recommendation was as if he was a mind reader. The final results were awe inspiring. DJ Mike Starr is excellent. He was in charge of music for both the ceremony and reception. We had a mostly younger crowd (20-35) at the wedding.

Prior to the wedding, Mike was super communicative and friendly without being overbearing. He was very reassuring, and we knew we didn't have to worry about him from the conversation - he had it handled.
If you have friends that like to party, look no further. Our plan for the wedding was "Start classy but turn it into a dance party by the end of the night." Mike captured the vibe we were going for completely and knew exactly what to play to keep the party moving. Excellent transitions, never let a song overstay it's welcome, and executed every planned song perfectly.
