If anyone is ever looking for a personal trainer, my 11 year old has been training with Jennifer Ikonomidis for the past 4 weeks, and has had great results and measurable improvements in her fitness. She also enjoyed it - and came home sweaty and feeling visibly GOOD every time, clearly having worked hard and feeling proud of having pushed herself just exactly the right amount of "hard". I have been training with Jen for 2 months and I can say that I have no regrets. In my first month I dropped THREE inches and 2% body fat! ! I am lifting higher weights, adding more exercises to my routine, and I'm able to recover more quickly between exercises...which all points to better heart health and a stronger me! Jen changes up the workouts each time so you never feel bored, she challenges you to try higher weights or new exercises that you didn't think you were capable of doing, and best of all, she makes a 60 minute workout go by in no time at all :-) Jen has been a better option for me than a gym, group classes or just working out on my own...she shows up at my door so I have no excuses, and she shows me proper form and technique so I don't injure myself. I originally met Jen as a member of my gym. Her work ethic, enthusiasm, and results inspired other members to the point of scheduling their classes when they knew she would be there. With Jens ability to motivate others, along with her commitment to health and fitness, becoming a personal trainer was a natural progression. Jen is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and creative. She is currently working with my husband and I, and I am impressed with the variety in our workouts and her ability to challenge both of us individually while minimizing the downtime, so no waiting around for each other to finish. I also appreciate her notes with exercise list and rep/weights we did, so that we can follow the routine at home on days we don't see her. For someone who does not like to exercise, she has motivated me to keep my body moving and (with nutritional advise) to be mindful of my eating habits. I can do zoom sessions if a client prefers this over face to face.
