Fitness for $10 is an excellent gym. I travel extensively and FF10 is as well equipped and maintained as any gym in the US. All of the bases are covered if your looking for a traditional or cross functional style workout. Love seeing the unique Hoist ROCIT product in the line up. Best place workout in Mankato. Who can beat $10? Also they have great staff, one free session with a trainer. You can also upgrade to the studio membership to take advantage of the various training programs. I've been a studio member now for 2 months and cannot express how happy I am with all of the different classes and extras like the hydromassage & red light therapy. This is my favorite gym in the Mankato area. If I had to guess it probably has the largest member base only 2nd to the MSU college rec center only because the rec center is free to students. If you go during the busy portion of the day you may find a large amount of people in the gym. But I've never been in there and not found an open cardio machine. I’ve never really been a big fan of working out. It feels like a chore and I can’t wait til it’s over. Because of that my 30’s have hit me hard with weight gain. I see pictures of when I was 16 and hardly recognize myself. Because of this gyms really freak me out and I feel super self conscious. I’ve been to Planet Fitness, kind of a dump. LA Fitness was nice, but expensive. I decided to give FF10 a try. I have all this time on my hands, why not get into fitness. I feel like over time I won’t feel like such a fish out of water. I think the employees know how intimidating gyms can be and they were super friendly and non judgmental. When I needed help with a lock they assisted me no problem. The place is also huge, clean, tons of classes and other cool stuff like spa equipment like massage chairs and red light therapy which I may try. It’s a good bang for your buck and there’s lots of other good reviews. It’s also a neat looking building. All in all I think I did well with this choice and can’t wait to get going. More...

I live outside of Minnesota and went to this gym to get a workout in yesterday. The fact that they offer day passes for travelers like me (and my family) is great! Not only was the staff extremely friendly and helpful, they also made us feel welcomed like we were members. The facility had every piece of equipment imaginable and then some! It was also one of the cleanest gyms i've seen. Hard to believe you get all of that for just $10/month! If I lived closer I would choose this as my gym in a heartbeat! More...

My experience at FF10 has been nothing short of tremendous. My personal trainer, Nathan Palm, is driving me to be my best and sculpting my body into what will be a piece of art. This is a great gym for everything from cardio machines(love the Jacobs ladder) to an impressive free weight area( not at all intimidating) and I love all the leg presses Smith bars, and pulley machines! I'm a woman in my 40 and I would say this might be a bit of a younger crowd but that's probably due to to women my age being misinformed about the benefits of weight training. The staff is helpful and surprisingly educated about the machines and fitness in general! It's nice to go to a gym where the people behind the counter are skilled in customer service and how NOT to stare at you blankly when asked a question about a machine or a class! I really enjoy this place (I go 6 times per week in the early morning) but they need to do some type of education or blitz to encourage members to put away the weights they use. Great, friendly staff. Always willing to help. I’m still fairly new to lifting and any one of the staff members is always willing to answer my questions. Clean gym.
