Consistency. Sticking to your chosen diet and exercise style is infinitely more important than which one you choose.

Helping people achieve their health goals is number one, but it is also exciting when a client improves their strength and flexibility and starts being able to do things that they never could before.

My own instructor helped me overcome chronic back pain and coming from a social work background, I knew that Pilates and Health Coaching was the perfect way to help people improve their own health, whatever their challenges may be.

I have extensive experience in helping people navigate the confusing realm of diet styles. I do not advocate one in particular, but help each client find the best way of eating for them. I also have a passion for the Pilates method and how it can strengthen and increase flexibility in every person. I have been teaching for a long time and understand how to modify exercises so that anybody can get a personalized workout that is perfect for them!

I teach Pilates through Zoom when requested and I have a HIPAA protected web portal for Health Coaching that can be done via telehealth for phone conversations.

I have decreased class size to ensure social distancing. Hand sanitizing stations, as well as hand washing facilities, are easily accessible.

Services

I offer private as well as small group classes consisting of no more than 3 people to maintain social distancing. I also offer classes through Zoom if you are not comfortable with in-person instruction.

I offer specialized classes for women during and after pregnancy. Pilates during pregnancy will help to maintain abdominal stability and in some cases will make delivery easier after learning how to control your deep core muscles through Pilates. After pregnancy, it is important to return to exercise with someone who understands how to help the female body regain their internal strength and pelvic stability without over taxing the joints muscles that are still recovering from the pregnancy hormones.

This series of 5 lessons is for the person who has never taken a Pilates class before, has very little experience with Pilates, or has not exercised very much and wants to ease into a new routine. This package will take you through the beginner mat sequence. During this series, we will discover any muscle imbalances and points of weakness that need special attention. We will develop modifications if needed so that you are prepared to enter into a beginner class.

Health coaching is a process through which we make your goals and dreams become a reality. Any and all aspects of health can be addressed - weight loss, nutrition, smoking cessation, medical issues such as medication compliance, or pre-diabetes challenges can also be addressed. Other topics could include sleep, healthy habits, stress, any and all topics can be addressed. You decide what you want to work on and my job is to help you reach your goals.
