First of all, Gabby is a FANTASTIC teacher. She knows what she is doing and she can werkk with anyone so don't be scared thinking you can't twerk, cause you can. Gabby will make sure of it. Next, let's talk about the workout because it's the truth. Your legs and abs and butt are going to be blasted. It is no joke!! The best part of that is it makes you so so so toned. Cardio and toning, and because it's your own body, you can really get results - both in dancing and in your health. Finally, the atmosphere is so welcoming, supportive, and fun. We're all shaking our butts thinking "OMG WHAT AM I DOING...ok maybe I got this, ohhh damnnn I'm hot, wait nevermind I'm dyinggg..." and we laugh and let loose and just enjoy moving what our mamas gave us. FitCity is the best gym in the area. Great selection of equipment and available 24/7 access. But what truly sets FitCity apart is the staff. They are all great people and very knowledgeable in the art of bodybuilding. This is such a great place. Both the staff and clients are so welcoming, you feel as if you are really part of a supportive community. This is a great place to get fit and healthy for anyone regardless of fitness level, but I think it is especially great for women...I was very intimidated at first but even my first day, people made me feel welcome. Sysser is an amazing, amazing trainer, and Tara's nutritional advice was life changing for me. Reasonably priced too, and you get a lot for your money. More...

I have not really been one for gym membership or working out in a place where others actually go to, but I felt so comfortable here.

Tara, the owner, is so warn and welcoming. She ensures that you are able to fit in with what you are working on, and takes time to talk with you, ask what your goals are and then suggests ways that you can improve and better build yourself to reach those goals.

Bootcamp with Earl Canale is awesome and if you are looking for a burn, this is the class to take.

I have not taken the Spin class, but I have close friends that have and Tara is a great instructor so I have to believe this is also true when they tell me it is a full body workout.

From what I understand there will be a Kick Boxing class, and possibly be Yoga. As FitCity adds and offers more, I can only believe that my wife and I have found out "Fitness Home". More...

Today was my very first day with Tara doing my very first personal training session. The more I talk with her the more I love her. The vibe in the gym is very empowering and not threatening. All the members were so friendly which made it fun for a nervous newbie. Love this gym !! I hadn't worked out in awhile and I was so nervous to join a gym , but as soon as I met the owner Tara I knew I had to join , she was so friendly and welcoming ! This gym is Excellent and fits any lifestyle need, whether you're working out to loose weight, maintain a healthy lifestyle or train professionally, FitCity offers you everything you need and then some. The owner is very welcoming, friendly and very personable . The environment is clean, everything is always in its place and the clients and trainers are always smiling. I have been going to FitCity for over 2 years now. FitCity is an amazing gym. The staff is helpful and supportive of your fitness journey. They will take the time to listen and assist you in correct use of the equipment and proper positions in group classes. The owner is very approachable and will answer any questions or concerns you might have in finding the right workout routine. FitCity is a great gym that can offer something for everyone no matter what your fitness level. Excellent gym if you know what you're doing...The fact that it's an "anytime" gym (aka 24/7) is great, but if you want any guidance or classes expect to pay extra (it's not cheap to be taught fitness). My advice is to put aside some cash if you're new to fitness and invest in your future by getting a knowledgeable trainer, or do a LOT of homework. More...

Normally, I never write reviews, but seeing this one review shocked me. I joined fit city in September and whenever there was a problem Tara has fixed it as soon as possible. I am sorry the previous member had a bad experience but being a member now I can say the customer service is truly great and Tara has been beyond fair to both me and my friend who is also a member.
