As a fitness enthusiast, I came to Bob looking for a trainer to help coach me in refining my own self-taught technique, to help guide me in identifying personal strengths and weakness, and to aid in formulating a plan for my continued growth and development. In just 4 sessions with Bob, I got all that I wanted and more. Training on my own, I was starting to feel signs of misguided technique (lower back pain, peroneal tendon stress, etc.). Bob not only took the time to share with me his expert personal assessment, but made sure that I understood WHY the corrections we were making were necessary and beneficial. He patiently explained basic human anatomy and physiology to me so that I as I applied these new skills, I was armed with an understanding of the proper function of my body and how to facilitate it’s most natural and efficient movement patterns in my training. In addition to his wealth of knowledge and qualifications, Bob is super fun! He is passionate about his job and I feel he is personally invested in my success. No matter how long our training sessions lasted, they always seemed to end too soon! I always left excited to learn more. In less than a week of applying Bob’s recommendations, I have already felt new muscle groups “wake-up” and all my previous pain has completely disappeared! I can already feel improvement in my technique and am now confident performing advanced exercises that pain kept me from attempting in the past. I have been training with Bob for over 8 years. The workouts are always different every time I go. He knows how to focuses on the season- ski time, we workout so I can keep up with my kids on the slopes! Summer workout is so I feel good at the pool! I have used Personel trainers most of my adult life, I hate the gym and will do anything to stay out of it. Bob makes the hour fly by and in no time, I am out the gym. If you are an athlete Bob can help you improve your game or your time. I have seen several youth and adult athletes working out with Bob. He holds 7 certificates, I believe he is the only trainer that has this many in our area. The Woodlands is a small community and if you have yet to try a workout with FIT, I bet you are missing out.
