I used FirstLight Home Care for the first time yesterday to get me to and from foot surgery and for home care the rest of the day. Lisa matched me with the perfect caregiver, Taylor. I will be using them again tomorrow for my post-op doctor’s appointment and future appointments. They understand how to get the right results when caring for a client, tempered with kindness. We had tried another service with a good reputation and were not pleased. After trying FirstLight, we didn't need to look any further. Lisa and her staff are fantastic! They have gone to extreme lengths to provide the help we needed. Lisa even changed a light bulb that I couldn't when she came out to interview us. Lisa makes sure that she knows your needs and your personality and matches the right helper to your situation. Due to the irregular nature of our needs we have gotten to know quite a few of FirstLight's employees and every one has been personable and willing to help in any way they could. FirstLight has been serving my father now for over a year since a stroke left him disabled. I'm very happy with all aspects of the care received. I got my life back! Everything gets done that he needs. Transport, shopping, housework. It's always been smooth. I was worried about the cost, but the owner helped by suggesting programs that might be available to my father. I would have never known he qualified for the VA program and the Respite programs.
