We was always searching for a place to go where we could set down an order and actually enjoy the food and we found Firefly it is a great family friendly place to go to have some of the best food Haywood county has to offer it has the hands down best wings ever and there large selection of other food it’s something for every one so do your taste buds a favor and stop by and eat at one of the best places in Haywood

Absolutely horrible food. We noticed that almost all of their items are deep fried, but settled on Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer and they were very good. ..huge portion. I'd rather see a smaller, appetizer-sized portion for half the price. My husband ordered Fried "catfish" and it was not catfish at all. It was a fat filet of horrible quality...mushy, transparent and gross. They didn't accompany it with lemon or tartar sauce, until asked, but he shouldn't have eaten any, as he was sick all afternoon. I had the "Black and Blue Salad", but the chicken was pale white, not blackened and had zero flavor. It was definitely the precooked, frozen, food service chicken breasts and everything we ordered was bland and tasteless. We had a good Porter and a hard Cider and our waiter walked by our table repeatedly, looked at our empty glasses and kept going. We expressed our dislike of the food and he was apologetic, offering us some free coconut cake, which we declined. We now know why everything is fried...its all frozen, precooked junk. Let’s just say that if you are passing through Waynesville NC or you happen to live in Waynesville..please do the universe a favor and stop in to Firefly Taps and Grill. I promise you will not be disappointed and if you can get Amanda Thomas as your server you will not be disappointed!! She is kind, courteous and extremely attentive!! The atmosphere is the best I have encountered and the food is off the chain y’all!! The ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, smothered Brussels and topped off with the Firefly Catcher adult deliciousness will spin you around with great admiration!! Can't say that I really recommend. Depends on what you are looking for. If you want a quiet dinner this is not the place. The night we were there they had a band . Not really sure that genre they are considered. Played one oldie with which I was familiar. It was all very, very loud. We could not have a conversation at out table. Food was average. I grew up in Waynesville and now live in Maryland. It is so nice to see that more restaurants have come to Main Street. I stopped in with my 5 year old daughter earlier and the breakfast was outstanding, everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. My daughter raved about her chicken and waffles!
