Staff was super friendly and helpful. There were some items on the menu that I wasn't familiar with and they very kindly explained to me without making me feel like a fool. Pizza was pretty good but a little different than what I'm used to. Cookie was amazing! I wasn't able to try the coffee bar though...guess that will require a second trip. Cozy atmosphere. I've only been in here once so far, but it was quite tasty that one time. When it's all said and done, I think I will have been here about 1000 more times. How nice is it to have big city pizza in tiny little Bismarck? Quite nice, I'll tell you. In fact, I'd say it's like being in Italy. But what do I know? I've never traveled the world...lol. One of the best places to eat in all of Bismarck! 5 stars well deserved! I'd recommend to anybody to get the olives as an appetizer, but do keep the left over oil from the olives to dip your pizza crust in (I know this is oddly specific and a bit weird, but you'll thank me later). Another wonderful part of this place is that they serve many flavors of San Pallegrino, like no other place in Bismarck does this! Additionally, folks, they have gelato! The flavors change a lot as everything is made in house, but the gelato is fantastic (I wish they'd give you more than two scoops, but maybe it is a good thing its not a lot haha). The only thing I'd want to improve here is the heating during the winter months. It can get quite cold for the folks eating here, maybe not for the employees by the pizza stove, but it can get cold (wear layers if you eat here during the winter). We had trouble settling on a place to eat dinner in Bismarck. Walked around the downtown and lacking better alternatives, we went here. We weren't disappointed. The pizza was delicious. No, it's not a thin crust NY pizza, but it also wasn't greasy. It was fresh and the crust/dough was delicious. Not too chewy, not too dry and crumbly. Very attentive service. We had no intention of ordering dessert but were intrigued by the gelato offerings. In the end we sampled the salted caramel, Mexican hot chocolate (or something like that) and the honeydew. Great pizza and service! You really can't go wrong with a pizza joint that uses stone ovens to bake their food. The only minor gripe I have would be that I wish the pizzas had a bit more in terms of toppings, but other than that, I was satisfied!

Wow - this is easily one of my favorite places in North Dakota.  The food, the beer, the desserts and the ambiance are all awesome.  But the service is especially outstanding.  Everyone is helpful and happy - it's just a pleasure to hang out here.The pizzas are without rival in Bismarck, or the state for that matter.  My favorite is the Spicy but every one I've tried is incredible.  They have always been perfectly cooked and the crust is always amazing.Beer and wine options are always interesting and perfect compliments to the food.The geleto is incredible - my personal favorite so far was candied pecan - easily my all time favorite frozen dessert.  One visit ended with a pear tart of some sort.....WOW.But again, the people here always make you feel welcome and always provide top-notch service.  We just don't see enough of that anymore.  And for a road weary traveler, it is much appreciated. Stopped in here after reading an article about it through Bismarck tourism links. The staff and owner we super upbeat and friendly. It was a busy saturday night and they made a point to get us in right away. The pizza was good with fresh ingredients but as far as woodfired pizzas go it was a little lacking in bold flavours to wow us.
