Ordered the fried lamb, no flavors at all, the batter seemed old. Also has pumpkin ravioli, it was ok. But both meals were cold when served. They offered a brown bag with some bread, no olive oil. Service was ok but if you are after a flavorful food, this is my your place. More...

Very cute quaint place! I appreciate the manager letting my dinner date and I come in between hours. I was disappointed with the delay on the bruschetta. I was served burrata fritta instead and I enjoyed it. The aglio was pretty good and filling. It tasted very authentic - reminiscent of my time in Italy. I would recommend this place for a quick bite or a cute date with someone who appreciates simplicity and minimalism. The view from the patio on the roof is nice. Noisy with the busy street but in a comfortable way in which you and your lunch/dinner date can still converse and hear each other. I imagine that the photo ops are fantastic on the roof and inside at night! More...

One of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten at inside or outside of the United States. Everything was incredible, the Cacio e Pepe, L'insalata mista con capesante, carciofi, Il caffe...ed anche Il servizio.Cannot wait to return! I found another restaurant in Houston that actually serves the same food I had in Italy. I never had a bad dish of anything all over Italy. Italians know food. The Pulpo was cooked to perfection, soft, fresh, not raw, in olive oil with delicious flavors served with spring mix arugula, tomatoes and olives. Superb. The Mussels were just like I was in Rome, fresh soft not overcooked, delicious. I ordered the Carbonara just to see if it had any comparison to what I had in Italy. Believe me, I have looked at every Italian restaurant and tried the Carbonara and it never was as good. This Carbonara was creamy, peppery, chewy, with pieces of ham. So beautiful, so good, melts in your mouth with flavor. I will never have to try it anywhere else. I cried, I literally found it, and with this pandemic, I thought I would never see it again. So yes I had a Glass of Super Tuscan and then finished it off with a delicious lemon cake and a scoop of lemon gelato on the side. I hope you find this place as good as I do. I love Ninos and this place is just a more homey version with real Italian food prepared by an Italian Chef! I love it. Can't wait to go back. More...

This place is absolutely amazing and a great spot for dates. The food was top notch and after seeing the chef you can tell he's really passionate about the food. They also offer cocktail classes and other events often which is great for the community. The only downside I had about this establishment is that it smelt like a bathroom quite a bit but after a few minutes it went away because they have candles burning on every table. If eating here I recommend outside or the upstairs patio! Great job Fiori More...

Our first visit to Fiori was just ok. We elected to go at lunch time to keep the crowds lower and while the food was very good, our apparently new waiter was less than stellar. He completely forgot that we had ordered an entree when we ordered appetizers and actually came up to us after the appetizer was finished to see if we wanted to order something additional. He had never turned the order in. He also failed to make a request of the kitchen that we had asked for when we previously ordered. We had to turn back the entree and just proceeded with dessert. We will give it a try again, as we enjoyed the dishes we did have, but there needs to be a change in service personnel. More...

We dined here last night. All 7 of us did not like the food. Food was either too salty, no taste or too spicy. I have never been to a place where all 7 dishes were not good. The service was terrible too. Place was empty but we could not get ice with our water. I am not sure why a restaurant would serve a small glass of water to their customers with no ice. Its 100 degrees outside. The place was completely empty when we arrived. We should have known. I definitely do not recommend them and I would not go back. I don't think their reviews are accurate as there is no way this is a 4 star restaurant. Definitely there are MUCH better restaurants in Houston that this one. Don't waste your money. Our bill was over $200 for 7 terrible dishes with no alcohol. More...

The food was terrible. I didn't even understand the menu. The restaurant was very hot inside and they barely gave any ice the whole time. It was very overpriced and the dress apparel was not worth it for a place like this. Also a dish we did not like (there were multiple dishes we ordered we did not like) were not willing to refund which is very disappointing and they did not take it back. More...

Okay not bad but I don't think I'd come back... the place is cute but everything is either bought from ikea or looks like it was bought there. Most of the waiting staff was under the age of 20 and the food was just okay. The meat on the cheese and meat board smelled like deli meat to me and didn't seem fresh. I got the lasagna bolognese which was basically just a large meat and cheese casserole. I was hoping it still had spinach and ricotta in it like a classic lasagna but it didn't. Our waitress was really sweet but had to keep asking other staff members questions as she didn't know things about the small wine menu or which cheeses they had on the cheese board that day. Everyone was really friendly and their flowers were gorgeous but I just don't think I'd personally stop by for dinner again or recommend to a friend More...

Beautiful atmosphere and OK service. Waiter did not seem that experienced but was nice. As someone who worked at a top Italian restaurant in Oregon for many years, with Northern Italian heritage, I can say that this food is *currently* embarrassing. Everyone in our party was disappointed or underwhelmed with what they got, other than the wine, whether meat or fish or pasta. I hope something changes for the sake of the restaurant, and that they take these reviews into account. It is a lovely concept with friendly owners. If you go, order simple like bruschetta (ask for salt, but the tomatoes were fresh) and wine, then go eat your entrée somewhere else. Fresh ingredients the chefs just need to know what to do with them! More...

The ambiance of this restaurant was beautiful. Sitting on the second floor patio on a nice day was the perfect way to relax on a Friday afternoon. Waitstaff was very friendly to all patrons, however we noticed some issues with attentiveness of our waiter. This was probably due to him being assigned tables on both the first and second floors. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Appetizers were thoughtful and delicious, and the cocktail menu was perfect for a warm afternoon. I will agree with the rest of the comments regarding the saltiness of the dishes, though. Both the cacio e pepe and carbonara were especially salty.I'd give this restaurant a 4.5/5.0 but will round up to a 5 for the Yelp rating. The saltiness of our entrees was a noticeable blemish, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and will certainly be returning. More...

Excellent service and ambience! I'm giving Fiori 4 stars because of how great the service was but the food wasn't anything extraordinary for the price. Went for a date night last night and the fresh flowers were pretty when you walk in and the cheese board was a nice appetizer. Then it went downhill, Husband ordered the saltimbocca server highly recommended and I ordered the scallops risotto and it came out in less than 5 minutes (which seemed too fast) and the saltimbocca was cold and my risotto tasted like rice that wasn't cooked enough with hard pieces we ate very confused. We ended up just telling the server we had to leave because my husband got a work call and it took about 15 minutes getting the check. Overall disappointed, definitely underwhelmed. More...

Fiori has nailed the Italian aesthetic by taking you right out of the big city and immersing you in a quiet and romantic setting in Montrose, complimented by live music. The service was impeccable from friendliness of staff to timeliness of food and drinks. The bar tender was very knowledgeable about the wine list and offered his help and expertise in pairing a wine for our dinner. The menu is pretty board, offering a large selection. We ordered the charcuterie to start, which was prepared very well. The jam was amazing! For our main courses, we ordered the fried lamb chops and the shrimp pasta. The lamb chops were extremely thin, but tender, and were fried in tempura batter and overly salted. Would rate a 5/10. The shrimp pasta could have been amazing, except it was overly spiced with the red pepper flakes. I am a person that can definitely eat spicy food and this was a bit too spicy for me. Would rate the pasta 7/10. I would come back mainly for the vibe and aesthetic but would definitely have to tweak the order. More...

We have been twice. The first time was not bad, not great but we wanted to return as it has a beautiful patio on the first floor and another one on the second floor. The ambience is good.As my has husband is Italian and as they had the patio we decided to give it a second chance. The menu is not that big and unfortunately they did not have several ingredients so we were very limited in the options. The quality of the dishes was quite low, especially the pasta carbonara was undercooked and the taste was not at all pleasant. The scallops half cooked. They over toasted the bread. We ordered Spritz which is a cocktail from the area where my husband is from, it had nothing to do with the original recipe. The first time we went they had prepared it very well. Anyway, we do not plan to return. The waitress did her best to face and solve the problems. More...

Visited with friends and were seated upstairs. The ambiance is super cute and you'll love the patio just from driving by. It's small, intimate, and feels really romantic . There's a parking lot behind the restaurant or you can park on the street. Service was okay. I think our waiter was having an off day because he would sporadically leave in the middle of taking our order then show up 15 minutes later as if nothing had happened. Seemed like they were short staffed but with COVID, what restaurant isn't? Food was ok! Pasta was a little too salty for our taste but we loved that there were gluten free options available.
