This review is long overdue! We used Fine Art Cookies for our wedding in October 2021. Lisa was so amazing and helpful as we scrambled to find a dessert vendor after ours unexpectedly canceled on us so close to our wedding. I called desperate on Monday for some one in Joshua Tree to do a birthday cake for my best friend's 30th birthday. And I needed it Friday! Even though she had 2 weddings that same weekend, she pulled this beauty out of her magic fingers and it was incredible! I will never forget her kindness, her creativity, but also her amazing heart. I can’t say enough about Lisa. She helped me plan a surprise for our oldest daughters sweet 16 all the way from Ohio. I sent some inspo pics and our daughters likes, what she came up with was so fun and elegant. From the buttercream to the macarons… OH MY GOSH SO GOOD! The kicker for me was when I told her about our surprise trip she wanted to help make it special too. He delivered the cake, we had our daughter answer the door and she played along and sang to her. All I can say is WOW! I called less than 24 hours ago and Lisa made a stunning carrot cake for my friend's birthday this weekend in Joshua Tree. The best cake we've ever had! Also, one of the only cakes we've ever liked. Â Lisa is lovely, thoughtful and helpful. Â She made my daughter's wedding cake and it was amazing. Lisa is truly an artist! I am so glad that I reached out to her about making my wedding cake. She was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable when I needed assistance with deciding on what type of cake/flavor/design I wanted. I felt at ease when she suggested different options and looking at her Instagram definitely helped since I am a visual person. I ended up going with a two-tier CHURRO cake - the cinnamon ganache was incredibly divine . Not only did it taste amazing, the color combination was breathtaking! It really captured the Joshua Tree fall/sunset vibe I was going for. Most couples save a slice of their wedding cake but, we ended up saving half a tier!!!! More...

Lisa created the most amazing cake for my husband's birthday. It looked like a work of art and tasted like a dream. When my son first looked at the cake, he said it deserved 5 stars. After admiring all the little details she put in, especially the Joshua Tree cake topper (which was a hand-cut cookie, and the buttercream cacti around its base) he upgraded her to 10 stars.Even the little rocks around the base of the cake were tasty. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was blown away by Lisa and the stunning cake she made. It looked like art, and it tasted as good as it looked! Y'all. These cookies are not only beautiful but they taste amazing. Lisa was kind enough to include a mix of gluten free and regular cookies for our group and no one could stop raving. We had a 90s childhood themed party and the cookies ranged from Hey Arnold, to Friends and Slime Time Live. It was a hilarious blast from the past and they came out perfectly. Thank you SO much!!
