Great live music venue! Not a big fan of when it turns into a "club" but I'm also a little old for that so it's probably just me. Fifth and Thomas is an example of what Tallahassee needs more of. It's a great venue to walk into dressed casually but also a great date night, or "out on the town" night fully dressed up. It can be the first stop to a long night out or it can just be "the spot." The space is "cute" in and of itself! I love the ambiance. It's a perfect balance of cute and classy. It's located in the heart of Midtown in an area near other spots and restaurants should you want to go to more than one spot on your night out on the town. Some of the things that I love is that there is no cover, the atmosphere is casual, it attracts a mixed crowd, is primarily 21+, has great live music and even food available on some nights (check the calendar). There is a smaller bar area in case you want to just hang out and only be in the vicinity of the band. Seating is never really a problem unless you arrive super late. The stage view is great from any area. Parking can be an issue if you come super late but other than that there is a fairly large parking lot next to the plaza. More...

Great music from the live band. The stage was set up up so it is easy to see and the sound system is good. One of the few bars that it is easy to get a drink at the bar. The service is quick and the menu is posted huge above the bar so you don't have to ask what kinds of beers they have. Parking in front can be difficult but there is parking available out back. If you enjoy live music this is a great spot!! They showcase a very wide varity of bands & artists. So at some point during the month their is something for everyone's musical preference. For a smaller bar type atmosphere, the sound system is really good. There is usually a very mixed age range crowd. I have always had a great night out seeing a band here.
